Connecting with Our Church Family Condolences We express our sympathies to Sharon Dole in the passing of Dwight earlier this week. His memorial service will be held Friday, August 25th at 7:00 p.m..

Budget Reminder All ministry leaders and organizations need to submit their budget requests to the church office by next Sunday, August 20th.

Children’s Church Schedule As in years past, Children Church will not be offered during the month of August or Labor Day weekend. This recess provides a much-needed break for our staff. Children’s Church will resume on Sunday, September 10.

Koinonia Café Summer Hours Koinonia Café will be open from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the morning service at 10:00 a.m. It will also be open for a half hour after the service concludes.

Visitors - We are so glad you’ve come this morning to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card in the worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

You Have Mail Communication is important in a family, and one of the ways the ACV church family communicates is by using our mailboxes, located by the


nursery. If you consider ACV your church home and would like a mailbox, but don’t have one, please make a request using the Connection Card attachment and return it in today’s offering or drop it off at the Information Center.

Connecting With Our Community Backpack Give-Away

Our Open Arms ministry will be giving away backpacks during our community dinner on August 22nd. Connecting with the Nations

The morning will also include an all-church cookout following the baptismal service. This time will be an excellent opportunity to connect with church families and make new friends. The cost of the meal will be covered by free will donations.

Baby Bottle Fundraising Campaign Tri-County Options for Women, our local crisis pregnancy center, reported that the ACV baby bottles received to date contained $936.49. Thank you for your generous support. If you still have a baby bottle to return, please return them at your earliest convenience.

"The Salve Project"

Ana & Jose Trejo will be going on their annual missions trip again this winter to support an ongoing ministry called "The Salve Project". They help with church construction, teach seminars, and minister to families and children. If anyone would like to donate clothing or school supplies for the Salve Mexico Project, they are accepting

donations now and will take everything with them when they go on their missions trip to Mexico this winter.

Women’s Ministry Save the Date! Beth Moore Simulcast Saturday, September 16 ACV will be hosting the Beth Moore Simulcast. This is a free event this year. Mark your calendar and pray about whom you might invite to this event.

September Start Up! Wednesday, September 13 7:00-8:30 PM | Student Center We'll be back to our Wednesday night schedule starting September 13th! All students in grades 6-12th are invited to join us for fellowship, games, worship, teaching and small groups each Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30 in the Student Center!
