As part of our scarily fun day, we will also be undertaking a consultation to tell you about our services and listen to your thoughts and feedback; we’ve detailed our theme for the consultation below.

Consultation Theme: The Netherton Activity Centre is undergoing a makeover and is presently being rebuilt, with an opening planned for Autumn this year. This stunning new community and leisure facility will feature a new sensory play centre called Jake’s Sensory World which will itself feature a sensory room and soft play area. Alongside the sensory facility will be an array of newly developed services including a library, café, crèche, multi activity room, fitness studio, youth club, IT suite, sports hall and outdoor grass pitches. This new facility aims to provide a fully inclusive facility where families with disabled children and young people can visit together and enjoy a whole host of activities either individually or as a family. In addition to the development of the facility, both the Sefton Positive Futures team and Sefton Resource Centre are undergoing a change. Both teams will shortly be disbanded and in their place a new combined Short Breaks team will emerge who will be based at the new Netherton Activity Centre. As part of the Family Fun Day we would like to invite you to come to meet the members of the new team, look at plans of the new centre and to give us your feedback and comments on what you and your family would like the new team to provide.

If you have any questions or comments about any of our activities please do not hesitate to contact us on 0151 285 5449 /5444. For more information about what’s on in your area drop us a line for a chat, or contact us and we will send you more information. Log on:
