First Parish Of Sudbury Rummage Sale Saturday, April 21 is the date of the annual Rummage Sale at First Parish of Sudbury, 327 Concord Road, opposite the Sudbury Town Hall. The sale, which runs from 9:30am to 1:30pm, is organized by the Women’s Alliance of First Parish

and features gently-used goods of all kinds: clothing, household goods, books, CDs, toys, games and puzzles, sporting goods, stationery and office supplies, and more. Proceeds are used to make donations to worthwhile community projects, support the activities of the Alliance and fund special projects at the church. “Our sale is unique,” explained the coordinator, Peg Espinola.

“For the most part there are no price tags on individual items. Instead there is a $5.00 entrance fee which buys you a standard, specially-marked grocery bag (doubled for strength) into which you can place as many items as you can fit. Once that bag is full, you may buy additional bags, each for $5.00. And if you cannot find anything you want, you may return your bag and get your $5.00 back.” In addition there is a separate ‘Out of the Bag’ sale of selected items, priced individually, that are either too big to fit in a grocery bag, or have some other distinctive quality worthy of a separate price -- for instance, jewelry,

or designer clothes. Concludes Peg, “Our rummage sale is like a treasure hunt where everyone’s a winner.”

Corn flakes were so popular in the early 1900s that there were over 40 companies producing this breakfast cereal in and around Battle Creek, Michigan.

To encourage people to celebrate the month and send letters to friends, the Museum is providing free colorful commemorative stamps from the 1960’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s for people to use on their envelopes. The postage is limited to personal letters and cards and is available to visitors at the regular admission fee during Museum hours, Thursdays to Sundays, noon to 5:00. The offer of free stamps runs until April 30.

So just bring in your cards and letters, put several stamps on your envelopes that add up to fifty cents (current cost of a firstclass letter) and mail in our US postal box. Congregation Kerem Shalom Where Did “Judaism and “Christianity Come From? New Perspectives on Jewish and Christian Origins with Dr. Jacob Meskin - 6 sessions – Tuesdays 10:30-12:30, April 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Both Jews and Christians today, whatever their commitments and practices, often find contemporary academic and intellectual work on the origins of their respective religious

communities especially intriguing. This is not surprising. Even today how Jews understand the origins of Judaism shapes how they think about their own Jewish lives. This is true just as powerfully for Christians: how they understand Jesus and the early community of those who followed him continues to reverberate in their religious and communal lives today. However, in addition to exploring the respective origins of “Judaism, and of “Christianity, modern scholarship has also

revealed the fascinating and intricate ways in which the people we would later come to call “Jews and “Christians at first coexisted, interacted, and felt themselves bound together by a shared past. Scholars writing after WWII used to describe relations between early Jews and Christians as “the parting of the ways. Toward the end of twentieth and the beginning of the twenty-first centuries, however, scholars began rather to describe it as “the ways that never parted! Needless to say, of course, there is truth on both sides. In this class, we will explore this exciting and quite different picture, that of a community with

a common past that underwent a process of “religio-cultural mitosis. How did different kinds of “Jews and “Christians, in various locations, get along and interact in the ancient world? What were “Judaism and “Christianity like in this time? How did the “complex fluidity of this earlier period get transformed into a clearly defined opposition? What does this mean for how Jews and Christians think about themselves and about Jewish-Christian relations today? What light do these questions shed on the origins of antiJewish traditions in Christian thought? Readings will be taken from the Tanakh, early rabbinic

First Parish Of Sudbury Join the congregation at First Parish of Sudbury on Sunday, April 15 as we welcome back to our pulpit the Rev. Carl Scovel, who served our congregation from 1957-1967, and who will preach a sermon titled “Change and Transformation”. Rev. Scovel writes of himself, “An old minister, returning to the

church which he served over fifty years ago, notices changes in the church and town but is led by these observations to reflect on something more important than change, namely, transformation.” Carl Scovel, the son of medical missionaries, was born and grew up in war-torn China before attending college and seminary in this country. After three years working at Mclean Hospital as a conscientious objector he served The First Parish from 1957 to 1967 and King’s Chapel in Boston until he retired in 1999. As a Christian he was an anomaly in his own denomination but enjoyed his affiliations and his

colleagues, some of whom he still sees in bi-monthly Bible classes. He and his wife of 59 years live in Jamaica Plain near two of their three offspring and their families. Social hour follows in the Parish Hall. All are welcome. First Parish of Sudbury is a Unitarian Universalist congregation located at 327 Concord Road. Give Blood With The Red Cross During National Volunteer Month The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood during National Volunteer Month this April. Donating blood is a simple way for those who are short on time to make a life-changing difference. Kay Whaley knows the impact of blood donations. When she was 9, she was in an accident

and received many transfusions. That experience inspired her to become a blood donor. “It takes about an hour of your time and could save the life of a friend, neighbor or even family member,” she said. “It doesn’t cost you anything and is the greatest gift you could give.” Volunteer donors are the only source of blood products for those in need of transfusions. Donors of all blood types are needed to help meet patient needs this spring. Make an appointment to

The Concord Public Ceremonies and Celebrations Committee would like to remind the residents of Concord and its surrounding communities that the annual Dawn Salute will be held on this Tuesday, April 19th at 6:00 am. The event takes place at the Buttrick Hillside in Concord in the same vicinity as the Old North Bridge, marking the site of the opening battle of the American Revolution. What follows is the reenactment of Concord’s “Dr. Prescott” arriving by horseback at the North Bridge. Riding through the fields, “Dr. Prescott” calls out warnings to the towns and villages that the King’s Regulars were on the march and that their destination was Concord. The Concord Independent Battery and the Concord Minutemen observe the open-

action unlimited ing battle with a 21-gun musket and cannon salute. The event also includes the traditional flag raising on the hillside as well as the performing of our National Anthem and Taps, which all contribute to honor our nation whose beginnings emerged in these fields. The Concord Public Ceremonies and Celebrations Committee hopes to see the public turn out for this commemorative event on April 19th, a few days following the Patriot’s Day ceremony on April 16th.

SPRING CLEANING CAN ALLEVIATE ALLERGIES Allergies affect people of all ages. The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology reports that allergic rhinitis affects between 10 and 30 percent of the world’s population. In addition, the prevalence of allergic diseases has risen in industrialized nations for more than 50 years. Seasonal allergies tend to be the strongest in spring and autumn. Allergies can be exacerbated by many factors, including in homes where improvements are being made. Regular housecleaning can remove many common allergy triggers and help alleviate symptoms. Knowing which common home improvement mistakes can aggravate allergies can help homeowners avoid them.

Suit up Before any cleaning begins, allergy sufferers should don face masks and rubber gloves to prevent themselves from breathing in allergens or having them touch their hands, where they can be transferred to the face or elsewhere. Having the air conditioning a professional cleaner who will clean and dry the carpet as running can help filter the air as well. quickly as possible. Use exhaust fans The AAAAI recommends using an exhaust fan in the kitchen and bathrooms to reduce the levels of moisture in these rooms and filter out potential allergens and odors. Moisture can eventually lead to the growth of mold and mildew, which isn’t healthy for anyone, including allergy sufferers, to breathe in. Invest in a HEPA filter Vacuums with HEPA filters can trap allergens that are so small that they pass through regular vacuum filters. That means instead of containing them, these small particles are only being shot back into the air where they are easily breathed in. WebMD suggests vacuuming once or twice a week to keep carpets and floors as clean as possible. Plus, don’t forget to vacuum upholstered furniture and drapes as well.

Damp dusting is better When cleaning up dust or home renovation debris, use a damp cloth or a vinegar solution to wipe down surfaces. This helps trap small particles instead of sending them into the air. Treat mold issues Mold can trigger allergic reactions, so it is best to keep it out of a home. Solutions that contain at least 10 percent bleach can be effective at killing mold, but it’s best to prevent mold from growing entirely. That means keeping tabs of any moisture issues and addressing them immediately. Allergies can be problematic, but routine home cleaning in the right way can help alleviate symptoms. SH182702

Window strikes are common among many species of migrating birds, and millions of wild birds are killed annually flying into windows. Whether you are an avid amateur ornithologist or just a casual observer of feathered friends in flight, by taking precautions your home need not be part of the problem. Take advantage of the fact that birds can see certain light frequencies that humans cannot to make windows visible to birds in a way that won’t obstruct your own view. Doing so can be a simple home project completed in just an afternoon. Try applying UV decals and UV liquid to your home’s windows and sliding glass doors. Those from WindowAlert, for example, have been proven to effectively alter the flight path of birds to prevent window strikes. While the coating will look like etched glass to the human eye, it will look very visible to a bird. As UV reflectivity may fade over time, it’s important to replace the decals and liquid every four months. Application techniques can be found by visiting “Turning your home into a refuge for birds is a simple way to save lives and protect the creatures that beautify your yard and, in the case of hummingbirds, pollinate your garden,” says Spencer Schock, founder of WindowAlert. Schock also recommends planting trees, shrubs and flowers that provide birds with nourishment and shelter, as well as paying attention to pet cats when they are outdoors, to ensure they don’t hunt the birds that visit. This season, be a better friend to birds by taking a few simple measures in your home and garden.

ADD FIRE SAFETY TO YOUR FAMILY’S ROUTINE (BPT) - Think of all the items you replace regularly - your cellphone, lightbulbs and even your toothbrush. But when was the last time you replaced your smoke alarm batteries, or even the alarms themselves? It’s easy to overlook, but the time to think about fire safety is now - before an emergency strikes. Many assume that because they have smoke alarms in their homes, they’re protected in the event of a fire. In reality, smoke alarms need to be installed, maintained and tested regularly to ensure they’re working properly. That effort includes knowing how old smoke alarms and their batteries are, as neither lasts forever. While smoke alarm lifespan and sensing technology have improved in recent years, the fact remains that all smoke alarms - even hardwired and sealed battery models - expire after 10 years.

First Alert offers the following advice to ensure your family is best protected from fire. Count the alarms - In most cases, one alarm isn’t enough. In fact, the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA), recommends smoke alarms be installed inside every bedroom, outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home, including the basement, as well as one carbon monoxide (CO) alarm on each level and in each sleeping area. A quick and easy way to remember is one on every level and in every bedroom.

“According to the National Fire Protection Association (, three out of five home fire deaths occur in homes without smoke alarms or from missing or dead batteries,” said Tarsila Wey, director of marketing for First Alert. “Just like other household duties, it’s important to make sure alarm maintenance and replacement and escape planning and practice become a regular, ongoing part of your family’s routine.”

Install them properly - Does your alarm ever sound when cooking? Chances are, you’ve installed the alarm too close to your appliances. An easy way to reduce false alarms and maximize coverage is to take a moment to review manufacturer guidelines and install alarms in the proper locations. Smoke alarms should generally be installed at least 10 feet from a cooking appliance to minimize false alarms. It’s also recommended to install smoke alarms high on walls or ceilings. Remember, smoke rises, so high placement provides a direct path for detection. Lastly, don’t install smoke alarms near windows, doors or ducts, where drafts might interfere with their operation.

action unlimited Get complete coverage - In general, there are two types of fires - quick flaming and smoldering. Today’s smoke alarms are effective at detecting both but use unique technologies that make them better suited for particular locations within the home. The NFPA and other safety advocates recommend installing dual-sensor alarms like the First Alert 10-Year Battery Dual Sensor Alarm because they provide the best potential for early detection of all types of common household fires while helping to reduce the number of non-emergency alarms - all while providing a decade of protection without the need for costly and ongoing battery replacement. Install and maintain - Having smoke alarms is only one part of the story. In order to function properly, all alarms must be regularly inspected and maintained. Make sure to test the alarm, by simply holding down the test button, at least once a month. Also, when testing, it’s important to clean the alarm to remove any dust or debris. This advice holds true even for newer alarms, which feature 10-year batteries, as well as hardwired alarms that feature a battery back-up. Check or replace the battery when you change the time on your clocks each spring and fall.

INTRODUCE EARTHWORMS INTO THE GARDEN Gardeners eager to revitalize their lawns and gardens may spend hundreds of dollars on tools and products designed to improve soil and growing conditions. Although many of these items can be advantageous, gardeners also may want to look to nature’s best garden helpers: earthworms. It is believed that nearly 3,000 different types of earthworms inhabit the planet. Worms have been around for hundreds of millions of years. Worms can be seen as bait dangling on fishing lines or as meals for red-breasted robins. But these subterranean dwellers play their biggest role beneath the soil. Earthworms move through dirt as they search for food. The worms consume particles in the soil, helping to recycle materials like dead leaves, plant parts, decaying animals,

and feces. Through their travels, worms also serve to aerate the soil. Worms bring the subsoil closer to the surface and mix it with the topsoil. Earthworms’ castings also help naturally fertilize the areas in which they reside. The slimy mucus that worms leave behind contains nitrogen, which also helps to amend the soil. The University of Illinois Extension says most earthworms found, particularly in North America, can only grow so long, even though some worms seem like they stretch forever underneath the ground. Depending on the type of worm and how many segments it has, as well as its age and ability to get nutritious foods, worms typically reach only a few inches in length, offers National Geographic. There are some anomalies, however. The Oregon giant earthworm is one of the largest earthworms found in North America, growing to more than three feet in length. That worm is very rare, however. In 2016, a 16-inch-long earthworm was discovered in England and became part of the collection at the Natural History Museum in London. Some Australian and South American earthworms are known to grow much larger.

Worms need the correct mix of oxygen, moisture and favorable temperatures to survive. If they do not have these components, they will seek them out elsewhere. Because of the many benefits earthworms provide, they can be a boon to landscapes.

Gardening enthusiasts may have been thinking about their landscape plans throughout the winter, eager to once again get their hands dirty with soil. Whether a home gardener is making preparations for edible crops or beautiful flowers, he or she must take time to make the soil amenable to planting. To establish hearty, durable plants, gardeners can focus on three main areas: addressing soil composition, cultivating and adding nutrients. Soil composition Many gardeners prefer growing a variety of plants in their gardens. Such an approach requires taking inventory of the type of soil in one’s garden and making the necessary modifications so that the types of vegetables, herbs, shrubs, or flowers that will be planted can grow in strongly. In fact, according to the plant company Proven Winners, the most important step to developing good roots is preparing the soil. Take a sample of the soil and examine it to see what is present. If the soil is too full of clay, too sandy, too dense, or too loose, that can lead to problems where plants cannot grow in strong. Work with a garden center to add the right soil amendments to make a rich soil. This may include organic compost or manure, which will also add nutrients to the soil.

saturday, april 14, 2018

pg. 13A

Nutrition Testing the pH and the levels of certain nutrients in the soil, namely nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, will give gardeners an idea of other soil additions that may be needed. Soils with a pH below 6.2 often can benefit from the addition of lime several weeks before planting. Soil tests will determine just how much fertilizer to add to the soil. Complete fertilizers will have equal amounts of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Individual fertilizers can amend the soil with only these nutritional elements that are needed. Top-dressing empty beds with a layer of mulch or compost can prevent weed growth and preserve moisture until it is time to plant. If existing shrubs or plants are in garden beds, use more care so as not to disturb roots or dig too deeply. Preparing garden beds takes some effort initially, but can be well worth the work when plants flourish throughout the growing season.

Kenny’s Sealcoating David Dreslinski, Estimator

Asphalt Sealcoating Hot Rubberized Crack Fill Free Estimates Senior Discount Phone: 978-833-7368

Cultivation Cultivating the soil can involve different steps. Removal of weeds, errant rocks, roots, and other items will help prepare the soil. Mother Earth News suggests working on garden soil when the soil is damp but never wet; otherwise, garden soil can become messy and clumpy. Use a digging fork or shovel to lightly turn the soil when it’s mostly dry. Gentle tillings also can open up the soil to incorporate the nutritional amendments and relieve compaction that likely occurred from freezing temps and snow pressure. Tilling also helps with drainage and oxygen delivery to roots. The DIY Network suggests turning over soil at a depth of 12 inches to work the soil — about the length of a shovel spade. However, the resource Earth Easy says that existing garden beds have a complex soil ecosystem and simply top-dressing with compost or manure can be enough preparation for planting. Gardeners can experiment with the methods that work best for their gardens.

Travel down the cleaning aisle of a neighborhood store and you will be met with product after product designed for specialized cleaning. There are sprays for windows, cleansers for electronics, carpet-cleaning foams, and scouring solutions for tubs and showers. Although many of these are effective, the average person can rely on just one cleaning aid for a wide variety of tasks: vinegar. Vinegar is a versatile product that can be used in everything from cooking to pickling to preserving foods to household cleaning. Vinegar is made by two distinct biological processes, offers The Vinegar Institute. Via fermentation, yeast will first change the natural sugars in the vinegar-to-be material solution into alcohol.

The second process involves a group of bacteria called “acetobacter,” which convert the alcohol into an acid. Vinegar can be made from any fruit or natural material containing sugar. For the purpose of generalized cleaning, white vinegar is the most common type used and is typically made from corn. Utilizing vinegar around the house is quite simple, and can be used in various ways around the house. • Remove lime buildup. Vinegar is good for cleaning faucets and showerheads. Make a paste of one teaspoon of vinegar and two tablespoons of salt. Apply to sink fixtures and rub with a cloth. Fill a plastic baggie with vinegar and attach to the showerhead with a rubber band. Let sit a few hours to overnight and then rinse away the mineral deposits. • Brighten laundry. Add 1⁄2 cup white vinegar to the wash cycle. It will help loosen stains and brighten clothing. An added benefit is the acid will reduce static cling. • Disinfect cutting boards. Give cutting boards an extra cleaning by spraying them with straight vinegar, then rinsing to clean. • Clean the disposal. Make sure food residue doesn’t clog garbage disposals and lead to odor. Mix vinegar and baking soda in the drain and allow the bubbling action to remove built-up residue. Use a scrub brush for extra scouring. • Get streak-free windows. Mix a 50-50 solution of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Use to clean windows and other glass surfaces. Wipe away with a microfiber cleaning cloth so no lint is left behind.

• Eradicate pet odor. Pour a little bit of vinegar into an empty litter box. Let stand for around 20 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Vinegar also can be used to blot up pet stains on the carpet. Just test color-fastness in an inconspicuous area first. • Banish water stains. Fix water stains and rings on wood furniture by mixing equal parts vinegar and olive oil. Use a soft cleaning cloth moving in the direction of the wood grain. Polish using a clean cloth. Vinegar can be used all around the house — these were just a few of the dozens of ways to rely on vinegar. Just steer clear of using it on natural stone and marble, as the acid could cause damage.

The return of warm weather in the spring often marks the return of animals and insects as well. The spring season is a popular time for insects to mate and build nests. This also may be a time when homeowners see ant “swarms” in or around their homes.

• Keep a clean house. Use vinegar, soap and water to clean areas where ants are seen. Many leave a scent trail of pheromones to tell others where to go for a food source. • Treat carpenter ants at the source. Carpenter ants will not bring back food to the nest. Instead, sprinkle diatomaceous earth, or DE, around outdoor nests to eradicate colonies. • Work with an exterminator. If home remedies do not work, con-

Although many species of ants are harmless, homeowners do not want to see ants inside their homes — especially in large numbers. The following strategies can help homeowners address ant infestations this spring. • Identify the type of ant around your property. Consult with online guides or books to identify the species of ant on your property. Knowing which species of ant is in or around your home can help you address the problem more effectively. • Create a food trap. Ants are attracted to various food sources, such as fats, sweets and proteins. Mixing a very small amount of a food with boric acid can help control ant populations. Ants will bring tainted food back to their colonies and perish.

3 MAJOR HOME RENOVATIONS THAT ARE WORTH THE EFFORT (StatePoint) Building a new home? Overhauling an existing one? Here are three renovation ideas that will add beauty and value.

Now Booking For Spring Painting INSIDE & OUT OF YOUR HOME

Expand Your Living Space Don’t let that basement sit unfinished and unused. Substantially expand your home’s livable areas by turning your attention to the bottom floor. Finishing a basement is an involved project, potentially requiring electrical and plumbing work, insulation, drywall and more -- but the end result is worth the effort and expense. What’s more, some of the less technical aspects of this renovation could even be DIY-ed. Before getting started, consider what type of space would most benefit your household long-term. You may even be able to recoup some cost of the investment. For example, turning your basement into an at-home fitness center means ditching the costly gym membership. Want to reduce time and money on your commute? Your basement may just make an ideal home office.

Add a Focal Point Is your interior design in need of a little something? The right eye-catching elements can make a room pop while adding vitality to your living spaces. A fireplace, for example, adds ambiance and comfort while also creating a natural gathering space. What’s more, new models pair the charm of a traditional open-front fireplace with the design flexibility of gas models. The Phoenix TrueView from Heat & Glo offers the convenience of gas without the glass, giving homeowners an unobscured view of the flames against the traditional brick or fade-resistant reflective black glass liner. An optional Bluetooth speaker system allows one to hear the fire as well as see it -- making it a focal point for the ears as well as the eyes. Boost the Backyard If you find that your household spends very little time in the backyard, figure out why. Is there a lack of shade? Are there not enough places to sit? Take a poll so you can diagnose the problem and take steps to correct it. Consider also how to make this space usable for a larger portion of the year, such as adding a fire pit or an enclosed, heated patio. Lastly, consider aesthetics. A bit of landscaping can make your backyard as visually appealing as your home’s interiors.

COMPOSITE DECKING CAN BE A SMART CHOICE Decks add character and functionality to a home, increasing outdoor entertaining space and oftentimes improving the resale value of a home. Homeowners have various options when choosing decking materials, but one such option, composite decking, is growing in popularity.

Decks used to primarily be made from pressure-treated lumber. While lumber remains a popular material, more and more homeowners are opting for composite decking products. As anyone who has pressure-washed, stained and sealed wood decks can attest, such spaces require lots of upkeep to look new year after year. Composite decks require much less maintenance, making them highly attractive to homeowners who would rather spend time using their decks instead of maintaining them. Composite decking is any type of decking material that is formulated from different recycled materials. The majority of these materials include hard plastic and wood shavings of pulp. Unlike wood, which can fade, crack and rot, composite decking, which has been available for roughly a decade, does not degrade quickly and requires very little upkeep. Available in a variety of wood colors to match outdoor decor, composite decks also can feature artificial wood grains to make them look similar to wood planks. Although composite decks are not completely impervious to the elements, with some occasional washing to impede mold growth and new technology that has improved stainresistance, many of the pitfalls of other materials can be avoided with composite decks.

The newer systems have channels for hidden fastening, and the composite deck tiles snap into place. Composite decks do have a few drawbacks. They can be expensive — nearly double the initial cost of wood decks. And although they don’t rot, composite planks can scratch. Without refinishing, damaged boards will need to be replaced. Harsh chemicals may fade color and damage the composite materials, so caution is needed. Composite decking remains an in-demand choice for outdoor spaces. Low-maintenance and long-lasting, these decks have quickly become favorites among homeowners. GT174902 CAPTION: Composite decking can mimic the look of wood, but requires much less maintenance. Composite decking fits in with eco-friendly lifestyles. The planks are made from recycled materials that would normally end up in landfills. Products from Trex, a popular composite decking manufacturer, are made from 1.5 million shopping bags and wood mill waste. As composite decks do not rot away and are long-lasting, they will not need to be replaced frequently, which is another ecofriendly benefit. The Garden Club Of Concord Celebrates Mother’s Day The Garden Club of Concord is hosting its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 12th, rain or shine, in front of the Middlesex Savings Bank in Concord Center from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Over 1,000 plants will be for sale, including perennials, herbs, annuals, vegetables and houseplants. Most of the perennials come from the established local gardens of Garden Club members. Decorative containers of herbs and plants, which make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts, will be available for sale. Another highlight includes a bake sale featuring items home baked by members of the Club. The Garden Club of Concord, founded in 1928, sponsors education and community service projects throughout the year. Community outreach includes an annual Arbor Day observation, winter and spring workshops where members create and deliver arrangements to homebound seniors and town departments, an annual open community meeting educating the community, and the management of the Home Kitchen Garden Tours at the Concord Food & Farm Garden Fair. The Club maintains two town gardens, is involved with renovating the garden beds and maintaining the planters at the town Visitor’s Center. Funds raised from the annual plant sale are distributed to local projects that reflect the Club’s horticultural mission, In 2017, $4,800 in grants were distributed

to the following organizations: Concord Council on Aging, Concord Division of Natural Resources, Concord Housing Authority, Cooperative Elder Services, Friends of Minuteman National Park, Gaining Ground, Grounds for Learning at the Thoreau School, and Minuteman Arc for Human Services. In addition, the Club provides one $500 college scholarship. Join us on Saturday, May 12th to celebrate spring, Mother’s Day, and worthwhile community projects.
