Summer 2010


Success Institute is a summer engineering workshop for 11th and 12th grade students from populations underrepresented in engineering. Try it! Explore engineering through the creation of imaginative and fun projects. Success Institute takes the mystery out of engineering as you explore your talent to create things to help others. You will work in teams to create exciting, hands-on engineering projects and learn how engineering impacts your everyday life... how can you help society?

your team will design and create a prosthetic engineering device, get a taste of college life, and learn how to make a difference through a future in engineering.

July 12-16, 2010 (5 days/4 nights) on the University of Colorado’s Boulder campus Cost: $195 Includes overnight accommodations in a CU residence hall, meals and all workshop supplies

Pa ren t Par ti c i p ation Parents join students on the last day of Success Institute for project presentations and college information sessions. Parent workshop topics include financial aid, admissions, college preparation and academic choices for success.
