05/2015-09/2015 Managed the modular hotel design project in Foshan, China and presenting the work to the director in the end of internship. Working with the architectural construction team, managed the detail structural drawings of the New office of Zhongil Furniture stores in Foshan, China, communicated with the engineer and updated the changes of the design. 3rd year unitd studio project 1

The project design for 5 local musicians which come from south and north in Cyprus. They will live in the living pod during 21st June and the 21st September. These 3 months they can work together in the recording studio to compose the songs. In the end they can have the small concert performance inside the building stage.

Cyprus separated into North part and South part. They separated by the buffer zone which controlled by the U.N army. The north part was managed by the turkey government and south part is managed by the greek government. Each side citizen have their own culture development and enhance the conflict between two side. The first project is a pop up architecture for the local musicians and try to use the music to solve each side conflict.

recording studio structure


compression the colums of the buyuk han were heavy. it can be the structure of holding the pod and the studio. also the steel staircase extend to the foundation, it can holding the structure of the studio tension the pulling system developed in 3 point. when the living pod laying down, the recording studio will lift up. when the living pod lift up, the studio roof will turn down. bending when the roofing lift up, the roof need to bearing the strength of the pulling system compression the mini columns for the second structure to support the heavy roofing

Acoustic design applied to the recording studio and the stage. When the roof open the sound can go out in the stage. When the roof close, the sound only run into the closing stage. The recording studio can record clearly.Also the moving panel can do the same asoutic design.

The project design main value was liberated the buffer zone in nicosia. The museum worked with the CMP office in Cyprus help them to find the missing people missed during the displacement period. The museum separated two entrance in south and north,combined with the historical hall, memorial, CMP office,labodary and the garden with lake. The design focus on the atmosphere changing of the material, temperture, and lighting.

“Historical area” Greek cypriots left their homes brtween the displacement period. the turkish cypriots move into their home when they swifted their site. most of the houses had more than 100 years history.

In nicosia, most of the wind come from sw or w the direction of the building can easily to get in more wind from south.

They will get in the dark,narrow, higher hall. the sound effect of the stepping stone and the dark area will let them remind the suffering displacement period in the past.

When they travelled whole historical hall, they will back to ground garden and cafe space.The lake and garden will decrease their hard feeling a bit. The lake will pass though whole memorial hall and enhance the purification effect before they get in the hall. they will feel more calm.

When they get in the hall. there will have the memorial column write down their relatives name. but the space was open to the air. more sun light will get in. will let their feeling more peaceful. Exhibition space can let the vistors know more about the turth of the displacement history of cyprus.

They will bring the hopeful mood to get in the missing people information centre. they can find their relatives or friend when they pas through the whole circular information board. and talk with the scienists in the meeting room. They will go down to the garden and release their hard feeling in the end of the journey.

HYDRO SENSER Tottenham, Boardwater Farm, United Kingdom 2nd year unite studio project 1 weather device The moisture in the air is create by the temperture change.This device is made by the caroline pine wood. This wood will react by the moisture. It will bend when the humidity being high. When the humidity being low, it willreturn to original form. I used two camera to record the humidity change . One is face to the skyand other is face to the ground. The camera will record the lighting of the device inside space. When the humidity level being high, the wood will bend and let more natural light get inside the device. Whenthe level being low, it will be darker. The concept are look like the autometic windows and it record the weather change of the site.

SURVIVAL RESEARCH STATION Dunguness, United Kingdom 2nd year unite studio project 2

The research station located in the south of dungeness.It near power station and some of the residents house.When the sea water level become higher or the storm coming, they can exist and live in the station. the station will provide food and fresh water for them.The station faced to south so the green house inside the station can recieve more sun light to growing the plants.Also the people can enjoy the whole sea view of dungeness.

The research studio can avoid the risk of the flooding between these 50 years.I designed the desaltnation system to provide the pure water to the research lab to grow the plant and daily use.The research will focus on develop the hydroponics system in Dunguness. The desalination will transfer the salt water into fresh water. it can use it to fill the plants. sea shingle beach high low flooding risk mapping

The system can create enough vegetables and fruits to the residents in dungeness.

Play in circus Tottenham, Boardwater Farm, United Kingdom 2nd year unite studio project 2 circus school for children

The project is design for the tottenham children. It take place in the Board water farm estate and re-build the enterprise centre. Base on the research there have 8 schools near the area but there have not enough the playground for the children. The indoor circus school can good for the children play inside and they can perform their skill to there parents with the community.

The enterprise centre will slipt to two parts.One is the circus school for thechild and teenagers. another is the circus threate, the children can show the performance to the public. The broadwater farm residents can enjoy the performacefor free. The ground floor of the threate can keep part of the studios for public to rent.

The enterprise centre have a great location point in the broadwater farm estate. it occupy the main centre point. it can play a role in gathering the community. however, the centre have half space been deserted. the shops majority time closed. it should reconstruction the space and the programme and make sure the space not be abandoned.

I studied the space of claude parent design. and i used the slope to making space for the children.make the spce more playful. also i can use the differnt scale of slope to produce the space. The movement of the school can create an suitable environment of the circus school. The school will have different height design for different training inside the circus school.


my design can create the new job opportunities for the community. the residents can find the new jobs in the opportunities centre.

Sollevamenta da vinci Hong Kong ,China 2013-2015 furniture work and design study AEDAS From Zero to One X Channels Furniture (The Rotunda, Exchange Square, 11-14/02/2015) Cooperated project with AEDAS architects. Each group have one director, 2 architects and one architecture student. We used 5 days cooperated with the Channels Design Ltd to design and crafting the bookshelf in China.
