Hill-Murray defeated the Spartans 5-1 April 29. Jegtvig and Beyel provided two hits each. Richfield will travel to North St. Paul for a 7 p.m. conference game Thursday, May 5. The Spartans host Minneapolis Southwest at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 10. Richfield will go to Tartan for a 4:15 p.m. game Wednesday, May 11.

January and Tseng represented Richfield at the Hamline Elite meet April 29. And both brought home firstplace medals. January won the 100 hurdles in a time of 15.08 seconds. Tseng cleared 11-6 to take first in the pole vault. That height was her personal best and a school record by three inches. “It was exciting to watch both January and Tseng do so well in the Elite meet,” said Burns. “It was a big night for both of them.”
