VERTICAL TUBE FURNACE Vertical Tube Furnace (1100C) with 2" Quartz Tube for Quenching is 2" diameter quartz tube for special annealing or quenching application up to 1100oc. sample is hanged inside furnace by steel wire (wire not included), and a solution is put under vertical tube furnace. Furnace structure is made up of Double layer steel case with two cooling fan, which ensure low surface temperature. Energy saving high purity fibrous alumina insulation is provided. Operating Temp Range C is 100-1100 °C Max. Temperature is 1100 o C. Continuous Temperature is 1000 o C. Max. Heating Rate is <= 20 oC/min. Two stainless steel flanges with vacuum gauge and valves included. The controller also includes RS232 communications. The furnaces that use this control also utilize a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay. The digital single set point control features a single ramp to set point and a dwell, again with a single display but also with a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay. The digital programmable control features 1 stored program with 8 segments, along with RS232 communications. This microprocessor control features adjustable over-temperature protection, sensor-break protection, and digital readout of both set point and muffle furnace temperature.

SAFETY FEATURES Ÿ Door safety switch protects operator by

removing power to the heating elements upon opening the door. Ÿ Thermo couple break protection cuts

power to the heating elements, preventing a thermocouple failure run away condition. Ÿ Heating elements embedded in ceramic

Ÿ Two precision temperature controllers with PID function and30 segments programmable. Ÿ One extra temperature monitor is built in to shut down power when temperature out of

control by accident. Ÿ K type Thermo couple installed with Temperature accuracy of +/-1°C.
