TRAINING
16–20 May, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia Exotic Ulaanbaatar, the home of Chinggis Khaan International Airport (ULN) was the venue for the ACI DNA Security Screening Seminar. The event was given by Vercleyen Werner, instructor, G4S Security Services, and was delivered to 25 airport screening officers. During the five day practical course, the students renewed their competencies on: Body hand check procedures; security screening procedures for dangerous goods, cargo and mail; liquid limitation; X-ray and hand detector practices; and, detecting the EID. The ACI World team would like to thank all participants in both seminars for their active
participation and excellent rapport, with a special thanks going to our new friends, B. Badral and E. Erdenechimeg of ULN. Lastly, I would also like to thank the ACI Regional and World staff, Natalie, Vivien, Mona and Melisa for their organization, cooperation and continuous support.
