In March 2012, international passenger traffic registered positive growth in Africa (+19 percent), Asia/Pacific (+13 percent), Middle East (+10 percent), Latin America/Caribbean (+7 percent), North America (+6 percent) and Europe (+5 percent).

International freight volume showed gains in Latin America/Caribbean (+6 percent), the Middle East (+3 percent), North America (+2 percent) and Africa (+1.5 percent). Whereas year over year growth in international freight was almost flat for Asia/Pacific, Europe (-4 percent) experienced a decline in volume for the month of March 2012.
