Castor Oil Castor oil is rich in fatty acids and very moisturizing and lubricating to the skin in general. It acts as a humectant, attracting moisture to the skin. Castor oil packs applied with warm flannel are believed effective for pain relief and to draw out cysts, boils and warts.

Coconut Oil, Fractionated Fractionated Coconut Oil is the liquid fraction of the solids of virgin coconut oil. It is lightweight and easily absorbed into skin.

Coconut Oil, Virgin Virgin coconut oil, as it has come to be known, differs from regular refined, bleached and deodorized coconut oil in that it is extracted from freshly cut coconuts, not dried copra. It has not been subjected to high temperatures, solvents or refinement procedures. Virgin Coconut Oil is obtained from freshly harvested coconut meat that has been grated and then expeller pressed to produce the coconut milk. This milk is then centrifuged to separate the milk into coconut solids, water and oil. This separation is so thorough that the oil has no moisture left in it to promote rancidity, and the oil does not need to undergo any further heating to remove moisture. Virgin coconut oil is a light, penetrating oil with excellent shelf life and stability. It smells of fresh coconut milk and nothing less. Coconut oil is a very good carrier oil for dry, itchy, sensitive skin. It will not clog pores and it absorbs readily into the skin.

Emu Oil Emu oil is rapidly gaining recognition as an invaluable cosmetic ingredient. It has been reported to have an extraordinary ability to penetrate the skin. Emu oil seems to act as a carrier for carrying other ingredients. It is noncomedogenic, and is completely non irritating. It has been suggested that Emu oil can reduce inflammation and redness of the skin, reduce the formation of wrinkles and restore moisture to irritated, dry skin. In addition, it is said to reduce inflammation and pain of sore muscles and joints. It may therefore, be helpful with conditions such as arthritis. It has been recommended for use in healing burns and preventing the formation of scar tissue while encouraging rapid repair of damaged tissue. It should be a “must have� item for the medicine cabinet.
