MONTHLY STATISTICAL REPORT At the end of August, ACCION Network Partners and Affiliated institutions Active Portfolio is located at 5,249.1 million, reaching 4,689,508 Active Clients even when data of Compartamos Bank and Sogesol are available as of June. The PAR>30 days reflected: 4.07%. Related to the end of previous month, Active Clients increased 51,618 (1.1%) and Loan Portfolio grew at 77.3 USD million (1.5%). The Portfolio at Risk indicator had a low decrease of 0.01 points (Indicator came from 4.08% as of July to 4.07% as of August 2011). The percentage growth in Active Clients compared to the end of July and according to the grouping shown by the report, was presented as follows: Service Companies and NGO´s reflected the same growth (2.2%), followed by Regulated institutions with (1.0%) and finally Africa and Asia Institutions that grew by 0.3%. The percentage growth in terms of Active portfolio was reflected as follows: The biggest growth was registered by Service Companies with a 2.2% followed by Regulated Institutions (1.4%) and then Africa and Asia group with 0.4%.
Portfolio at Risk indicator registered the following changes: Just a group reduced PAR: NGO´s Group (‐0.8 points). Partners in Asia and Africa and Service Companies increased PAR at 0.04 points and Regulated Institutions increase slightly their ratio en 0.001.
AUGUST 2011 The Latin American and the Caribbean Institutions that are distinguished by their increase in terms of Active Portfolio over the previous month were: Bangente/Venezuela (5.8% represented by 5.2 million), Bandelta/Panama (4.1% represented by 1.6 million) and Genesis Empresarial/Guatemala (4% represented by 2.8 million). Related to Africa and Asia affiliates, the institutions which reflected higher growth in this variable were: EAMF/Cameroon (10.3% represented by 0.1 million) and ACCION Microfinance Bank "AMfB" / Nigeria (5.1% represented by 0.4 million).
The institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean that had higher growth in terms of Active clients over July 2011 were: Fama/Nicaragua (3.7% represented by 1,197 clients), Crediamigo/Brazil (3.4% represented by 31,423 clients) and Credife/ Ecuador (2.8% represented by 3,015 clients). Related to Associates in Africa and Asia, the institutions that are distinguished by the growth in this indicator are: EAMF Cameroon (21.3%=366 clients) and ACCION Microfinance Bank AMFB/Nigeria (4.9% reflected by 539 clients). The top three institutions that improved their portfolio quality indicator during August 2011: Fundación Mario Santodomingo that continues with portfolio “clean up” policy (‐6.42 points), Financiera El Comercio/Paraguay (‐0.5 points) and EB‐ACCION/Ghana (‐0.49 points).
ACCION International Network and Partners REGULATED INSTITUTIONS ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
*Regulated Institutions increased their active clients in 42,047 additional clients (1.0%). In absolute terms, Crediamigo/Brazil reflected the largest increase in this variable of 31,423 (3.4%). On the other hand, this group grew its active portfolio in 64.4 million (1.4%) and Mibanco/Peru reflected the highest growth: 26.4 million (1.9%).

*Service Companies grew in 4,705 clients (2.2%). In absolute terms, Credife/Ecuador was the institution with the highest increase: 3,015 active clients (2.8%). On the other hand, In terms of Active Portfolio, the group grew at a rate of 2.2% represented in 11.4 million and also in terms of clients, Credife/Ecuador was the institution from the group that recorded the highest growth in terms of this variable with 2.8 million (3.2%).
ACCION International Network and Partners NGO’s ‐ ACTIVE BORROWERS AND PORTFOLIO LAST 12 MONTHS
*NGO´s grew by 4,520 clients (2.2%). In absolute terms, the increase was registered because of Génesis Empresarial/Guatemala that registered a growth of 3,985 clients (2.7%). In terms of active portfolio, this variable increases 1.2 million (1.2%) and also Génesis Empresarial/Guatemala reflected the highest and only one increase from this group: 2.8 million (4.0%)

*Africa and Asia Group grew in 346 clients (0.3%). In absolute terms, Swadhaar/India was the institution with the highest increase: 539 active clients. In terms of Active Portfolio, the group grew at a rate of 0.4% represented in 0.3 million and ACCION Microfinance Bank “AMFB”/Nigeria was the institution from the group that recorded the highest growth in terms of this variable with 0.4 million (5.1%).

Regulated Institutions, registered a low increase in their PAR>30 days by increasing 0.001 percentage points, however, this indicator is located over the total weighted average indicator from all institutions by 0.18 points. Service Companies increased in 0.04 percentage points; however, this indicator is located under the total weighted average indicator from all institutions by 1.58 points. NGO´s were the only group which improved this indicator by decreasing 0.8 percentage points and during this month this group is the one located below the total weighted Average. Africa and Asia institutions increased this indicator by 0.04 percentage points. However, this group still continues being the one located above the total weighted Average by (1.0).
