Educate, Empower, Inspire. ACCESS: Allowing Children a Chance Education ACCESS is a youth-run, non-profit organization in Peel Region, founded in 2006 by Brampton high school students. ACCESS envisions the empowerment of generations of leaders through education in order to inspire meaningful development in their own communities. The organization’s mission is to facilitate education and empathetic leadership development through initiatives that engage, inspire and motivate youth to drive positive change–locally and globally. After receiving a major grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, ACCESS has opened an Office at the Brampton

Community Door and is expanding its offering of youth programming. A recent Youth in Action Grant provided by the United Way of Peel Region and Region of Peel funded tonight’s Arts for Change Showcase: Celebrate Community. ACCESS invites you to connect online, by phone or in-person! 289-752-3381 7700 Hurontario Street, Unit 601 Brampton, ON, L6Y 4M3 tweet @accesscharity

Welcome to Arts for Change! Thank you for Celebrating Community I would like to personally welcome you to this year’s Arts for Change Showcase and thank you for joining us in celebrating our community! Change begins right in our own backyards; this year we have decided to celebrate the youth, the organizations and the community that make change possible. As a youth-run organization, ACCESS has worked hard to put together Arts for Change – not only to showcase the talent of our local youth, but also to inspire others within our community to share their talent and become involved in positive social change. Here this evening are other youth-run organizations who have come to participate, share their cause, and further expand their networks. We are thrilled to provide you with amazing world-class performers like I Rock With the ONE, wonderful prizes such as the ones donated by Blessed Apparel, exciting network activities, and some delicious refreshments for your further enjoyment. Thank you for participating and showing your support at ACCESS’ Arts for Change Showcase. I hope you enjoy the festivities and entertainment this evening! Kristen Francavilla, Arts for Change Coordinator
