Kids Visit Free at the Museum of Fine Arts This summer children will be able to visit The Museum of Fine Arts for free during a special promotion called Kids Visit Free through August 31. All guests from six to eighteen years old will be admitted free with each paying adult at the cultural attraction in downtown St. Petersburg and just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico beach cities of St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island. The Museum of Fine Arts is presenting a special exhibition throughout the summer entitled Global + Local: Studio & Contemporary Glass on Florida’s West Coast. St. Petersburg is home to numerous art galleries and museums with an abundance of sidewalk cafes and boutiques that line the main avenues of the city. Beach Drive is home to the Museum of Fine Arts, Salvador Dali Museum and the Mahaffey Theater.
