МЕЖДУНАРОДНАЯ АКАДЕМИЧЕСКАЯ МОБИЛЬНОСТЬ

The principal goals of the Department of Intelligent Systems are to develop a computational theory of intelligence and to develop high-impact practical applications in areas such as intelligent information systems, data analysis, decision making, intelligent agents, medicine, ecology, language technologies, intelligent manufacturing, and economy. The Department of Intelligent Systems is one of the established European computer science research groups with a 20 year tradition in R&D in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, information systems, information society, medical informatics, natural language processing, and cognitive sciences. The aim of International multiconference IS 2010 is not to provide the final answers to the problems of the information society, but to open interdisciplinary debate and to explore different research directions. The multiconference will serve as a forum for the world-wide and national community to explore current and future research trends, business opportunities and governmental policies – both European and American. The main objective is the exchange of ideas and the development of visions for the future of the information society.

Theoretical as well as empirical papers are welcome. They should not be too technical, yet still scientific in nature. ■■

MATCOS 2010 (Mini-conference on Applied Theoretical Computer Science). Suggested, but not exclusive, topics of interest include: automata and formal languages, computability, algorithms and data structures, computational complexity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization, approximation methods, NP-hard problems, graph theory. Special emphasis on use in applications such as simulation, Bioinformatics, Digital signal and image processing, logistics.

http://www.kcl.ac.uk/schools/summerschool/arts/ Deadline: 31 мая 2010 King’s College London is one of England’s oldest and most prestigious university institutions: a multi-faculty research-led university college based in the heart of London with over 19,700 students, of whom more than 6,200 are postgraduates. It is ranked as one of the world’s top 25 universities. King’s strength in law, humanities and the social sciences make it a major player in forging links between the arts, culture and universities, and in the development of public policy at national level. King’s has a broad range of subjects, including physical sciences and engineering. The disciplines are increasingly becoming inter-related, notably in fields such as bioinformatics, health policy and medical humanities. King's College offers two Summer School sessions that last 3 weeks each, and you can decide whether you want to study for a 3 week or 6 week Summer School. You will choose one course per session and this will allow you to gain both breadth and depth in your chosen area of study. Courses will run in two blocks of three weeks (except Ancient Greek & Latin, which run for six weeks) and participants will be able to take a module in either or both sessions. Courses available include: Education; English; History; Languages; Law; Literature; Management & Economics; Arts, Cultural Studies and Music; Philosophy; Politics. 6 week courses in Ancient Greek and Latin are also available. A week-long English language course before each Summer School session is designed for those who need to improve their language skills or who wish to get a head start on their programme. студентам, аспирантам, молодым специалистам
