Simply Different

Meet theDesigner

Alissa Byrne

Hello and welcome to my catologue! I am a graphic designer from Evansville Indiana and I have currently been experimenting with a few patterns. I have created some that I find applicable to a lot of every day items. The color schemes were chosen through a project dealing with the RGB color cube and different palettes that can be created with it. The color combinations are not ones that you would generally put together. This project has greatly expanded my knowledge of color and how to use it in different ways. I hope you like what you see and I will continue to add new products, patterns, and color schemes to the existing ones. Enjoy!

Simple Keys This pattern was created using a circular shape combined with rectangles to create a kind of key formation. The simplicity of the key design makes it a very modern pattern to have around the house. The colors provided right now are taken from one palette that I have created, but stay tuned for some new colors!

Tire & Ice This pattern was created with the repetition of the letter A. As I was creating it and rotating the design around, I realized that it was starting to look like tire tracks. This was not the intent originally, but I do like the outcome and think that it still stands apart from actual tire track marks. The cool color scheme can be chosen, or the original black and white can also be used if you do in fact want more a “tired look to it.

Sea Qcumber This pattern was created with the letter Q. As I was playing around with the letter, I noticed that the curves of the Q connected really well when put in a circular formation. That is how the circles were created. I think this pattern is very dynamic since it is a geometric shape and a letter all at once when you look closely. This color scheme was more challenging for me to work with just becaus I do not typically put these shades of green and purple together, but in the end the result came out well.
