“Women in action…Destined for God’s Purpose” Friday, June 11th 3pm – Saturday June 12th 3:30pm The Salvation Army – Wonderland Conference Center 10 Capen Hill Road Sharon, MA Opening Speakers: Peggy Johnson & The New England Unit Covenant Players From North Kingstown, RI, Past President of ABC-RI, Past President of ABW ministries RI, Eastern Geographical Coordinator, Past President ABCUSA. Peggy is the chair of her church’s Diaconate and is teaching teenage boys’ Sunday School class where she is not only “having a ball” but has used her own innovative materials. Recently the boys have been rewriting the scripture in common use language to share with their friends. Peggy also is a licensed lay minister and is kept busy with many opportunities to do pulpit supply. Peggy likes to cook and knit and loves being a wife, Mom and Grandma.

Worship Leader: Helyn Hall is the director, founder and musician for the Stoughton Senior Serenaders. After years of directing a church choir, she found herself “unemployed,” when it disbanded. Needing something to do, Helyn started her own chorus, Stoughton Senior Serenaders. Under Hall’s leadership, the group has become quite popular playing in private homes, function halls, churches and other venues. Her musical talents span from Gospel to Jazz and she loves to bring joy to others in song. The AB Girls will be holding a Silent Auction to raise funds for girls to go to the AB Girls Conference in Columbus, OH from th th July 10 – 15 . Donated items will be on display in the chapel with bidding beginning at 6pm on Friday and ending at 10:30am on Saturday. Bid winners will be announced at lunch on Saturday. Saturday 7:30am Breakfast 8-10:30am Silent Auction Bidding continues in chapel 9:00am □ Praying & Talking Adventure into varied pathways in to prayer, explore ways to pray, delight in the language of prayer and much much more! □ Creating & Sharing “Iris Paper Folded Card with Envelope” Iris folding is a paper folding technique using colored papers, layered in a variety of patterns. If you can fold strips of paper and count, you will be successful! You will be able to choose between a log cabin or fan layout. Cost is $3.00 per card. If time permits, you may be able to do 2 cards (total of $5). These cards can be used as a unique way to reach out and touch people’s lives with timely messages of love and encouragement.

BREAK Walking & Serving “Sister to Sister” Walk - The proceeds from the Walk will further two great causes: Half of the proceeds will go to our Break the Chains project to support new ministries working to abolish human trafficking, and half of the proceeds will empower National AB Women’s Ministries to provide vision leadership, and resources to women & girls. □ Thinking & Destressing Guided Meditation - Saisih Nawnkhar - How to prepare our bodies and our minds to meditate on Scripture using some basic relaxation and focusing techniques □ A Program for Young Women Julie Brissot will provide a program for young women 18-30 Lunch Silent Auction winners announced Business Meeting & Installation Communion & Close
