elcome to our first edition of Choicez Health, where you will find issues related to your health. In this edition we thought of exploring more on why majority of women are not happy with their bodies, why they are so obsessed to look thinner and thinner, and to what extend they may go to look “perfect” according to their mind. We also discovered the benefits of using Acai products and how they can help you lose weight in a healthy way. Here’s to the new you!

However, some of them end up in very rigid diet, exaggerate with slimming pills and make use of laxatives causing them illnesses like anorexia. Bulimia is another problem they end up with when suffering from depression. “I have been taking slimming pills because I cannot lose weight, especially after I had a baby. I try to exercise but don’t get enough time and I think I am not tall enough for my weight” said Halima Saiyed, 30, from Leeds. Water plays a major function in our body. It is recommended to drink at least 2 litres of water everyday to stop our body getting dehydrated. This is in addition to the fluid acquired from the food. All non-alcoholic drinks count, but water, milk and fruit juices are the healthiest.

Fresh vegetables are important components of a healthy diet

You can always look gorgeous by having a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and moderate exercise. These all are important to maintain your body in good shape and make you feel good about yourself.

NHS reports that a balanced diet is extremely important for a healthy lifestyle. Meals should be based on starchy food (potatoes, cereals, pasta, rice and bread), also lots of fruits and vegetable (it’s recommended to eat at least five portions of different types of fruit and vegetable a day) and not to forget to add fish and meat in your diet, these are good sources of protein and contain many vitamins and minerals.

These ladies should avoid tube, pencil and fishtail skirts, especially tight-fitting ones. This will only emphasise your hips and behind. Inverted triangle ladies have a figure that’s bigger up top than on their bottom half because of broad shoulders and in relation to their waist and hips. Shoulder pads and tapering trousers are an absolute no-no! Also steer clear of puff sleeves, epaulettes and halternecks. If you are the Apple of someone’s eye then you’re pretty in proportion but tend to carry your weight around your mid section without a well-defined waist. You may also have fabulous legs. Short, boxy jackets and pleated or tiered skirts are not your friends, so avoid them. Curvy hourglass girls go in at the middle, often with a fuller bust and bottom to contrast with the smaller waist. Wrap dresses, waist-cinching belts and flared or wide leg jeans will work wonders. These ladies must avoid shapeless baggy jumpers.

I took these capsules for 4 weeks. I used to exercise 5 days per week for about 1 hour, this included running on the treadmill for about 20 minutes and the other 40 minutes was spend doing aerobics, adding a variation such as jogging, tennis and swimming for an hours. I cut down all fatty food and I used to drink at least 1litre of water everyday and voi la, I lost 8lbs. This wasn’t easy to do at all. I used to get tired and to keep this on track was a mission.
