Family Sundays in the Autumn take place each week between 12.30pm & 3pm
In four workshops across October you will create everything you need to celebrate the festival of ghoulies and ghosties including your own Halloween willow lantern, a willow flying creature sculpture and a mask.

The Farm Green Wellies, Airfields’ Young Farmer’s Club Saturday Mornings 10am-12 noon October 10th, November 14th €15 per session (11-14yrs) Working with Farmer Eamon, gathering and storing the winter feeds and preparing housing for our animals for the winter months. This is also the time of year that we plant winter crops. Wellies and raingear are a must!

October - Harvest and Halloween 4th:
Haycock making demonstration and feeding the animals with Airfield’s farmer. 11th: Conkers bonkers: String up your conkers and get ready to go bonkers. 18th: Help to plant wild garlic to keep vampires away as Halloween approaches. 25th: Create a miniature ghost to decorate the Airfield estate and one to take home.

October 10 , November 14 @ 2.30pm Eamon, our farmer, takes you on a tour of the farm to see the animals before they go indoors for the winter.
Flip Flop Children's Festival The Whalley Range Allstars: PIG 17th October 11am-1pm, 1pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm €4 10 mins per show, 14 shows per day.
You will use recycled materials to create fantastical insects, blooms and a gardenscape and pathway inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy and the garden of artist Derek Jarman. You will also create pieces to bring home.
