As designed, the certificate program consists of seven courses for a total of 18 credits. A total of 48 credit hours are required to earn the MHA degree. The certificate program will culminate with an applied capstone project using a case study model. This program is designed to provide training to: 1) those already working in compliance who need to keep their skills current; and 2) individuals who are interested in becoming certified healthcare compliance professionals. Program Goals: 1. Educate current healthcare compliance professionals and those interested in becoming healthcare compliance professionals about the trends and regulations in healthcare, at both the state and federal levels. 2.
