For some reason you left in a state of happiness, uplifted by the objects of beauty you discovered there and the sheer gorgeousness of the building, before skipping off for an ice cream in the heat of a summer’s day. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017, Rialto has undergone many changes and phases of growth throughout the years, but has remained a constant source of inspiration, desire, and sublime good taste on Mallorca. “We wanted to do something special,” say the Swedish founders, who also offer Interior Design services. “To give people the kind of products they would still be using 30 years later.” They far exceeded their original aim; devotees will tell you that theirs is the best concept store in Europe. De algún modo, saliste de allí en un estado de absoluta felicidad, fascinado por los objetos de gran belleza que descubriste y el auténtico esplendor del edificio, y antes de escaparte a tomar un helado en ese caluroso día de verano. Este año Rialto celebra su 10º aniversario y, a pesar de que han sido 10 años durante los cuales ha pasado por muchos cambios y fases de crecimiento, hoy en día sigue siendo una constante fuente de inspiración, deseo y buen gusto en Mallorca. “Queríamos hacer algo especial”, dicen los fundadores suecos, que también ofrecen proyectos de diseño de interiores; “darle a la gente el tipo de productos que todavía utilizarían dentro de 30 años”.
