Systematic Problem Solving

The key to systematic problem solving is to understand the issue at hand. Solve your problems systematically based on the way that you feel as you are attempting to create solutions. This process is done on a weekly basis. Place the problem that you want to solve on the top of your paper at the beginning of your week. Each day, review your problem based on the influences of your environment and how the solution impacts you. Daily, immerse yourself in something that motivates you creatively. This process can be completed through painting, gardening, making music, anything that brings you joy and peace while doing it. While you are working on what you love, create alternatives to your problems through seeking solution.

Step 1: At the top of your page, write out the problem that you want to solve. Step 2: Choose your method of problem solving through creativity Step 3: Come up with alternative solutions Step 4: At the end of the week, or when your project is complete, act on the solution.

Journal write in the present tense I am so happy and grateful now that I‌.

Creative Meditation Meditation is an ancient practice that is known to improve spiritual, mental and physical well-being of a person. Today it is also considered the highest form of relaxation. Meditation is also known to have numerous health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and other problems related to the body. Patanjali, an Indian sage referred to meditation as “self-realization” or absolute awareness of one’s self. Organized religions such as Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism promote the practice of meditation through prayer. There are four main components to meditation. Mindfulness, concentration, insight and tranquility. Meditation can take many forms. A person does not have to be sitting in a lotus position to meditate. Meditation can be done through walking, running, gardening, dancing, doing something creative and the like. The whole idea is to calm the body to focus on wellness.

Breathe in….and out……repeating the words…”LET” as you breathe in…. “GO”…as you breathe out, slowing your breathing down to a state of relaxation. Try to sit comfortably for 15 minute

The Universal Law of Attraction – Applying the Science of Mind The most powerful law of the universe Law of Attraction That which is like unto itself is drawn both wanted and unwanted. Our universe is an energy field and through your internal vibration through focused thought and emotion, you create your life experience by tuning your body to positive and negative emotion and thought. The universe is inclusion based. Your body is a magnet and you attract your experience based on your focused attention. The Law of Attraction has many uses. It can be used to achieve goals. It can be used to improve your financial situation. It can be used to get a promotion at work. And it can be used to improve your interpersonal relationships. The Law of Attraction can transform a person who is struggling with his career and who feels as if he can never experience success into a self-confident individual who is ready to accomplish his goals; and will not let anything step in his way. Your emotional energy is energy that is in motion. We live in a world of polarity and duality. There is an opposite action and reaction to everything, positive, absence of positive, light, absence of light, love, absence of love. This is the most important law and in fact, it super cedes all other laws as it is at the basis of all creation of all that is and all that ever will be. Be careful of your moods and feelings, for there is an unbroken connection between your feelings and your visible world.” Neville Goddard “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Nikola Tesla

What is Emotional Intelligence? And why is it so important? In general terms, Emotional Intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to perceive, control and evaluate emotions – your own and those of other people. Emotional Intelligence is a relatively new area of study. Its earliest roots can be tracked back to Darwin’s work on the importance of emotional expression for survival. In the 1900’s, the issue of intelligence was discussed mainly in terms of cognitive aspects such as memory and problem solving, although several influential researchers had begun to recognize the importance of non-cognitive aspects. In 1920, E.L. Thorndike used the term “social intelligence” to describe the skill of understanding and managing people. The term “Emotional Intelligence” is usually attributed to Wayne Payne’s 1985 doctoral thesis, A Study of Emotion: Developing Emotional Intelligence, but mainstream media interest was really only piqued in 1995 after a time magazine article on Daniel Goleman’ best seller, Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ. Peter Salovey and John D. Mayer have been leading researchers on emotional intelligence since those days, and they define emotional intelligence as “the subset of social intelligence that involves the ability to monitor one’s own and other’s feelings and emotions, to discriminate among them and to use this information to guide one’s thinking and actions”. Currently there are several different models proposed for the definition of EI, and researchers still disagree how the term should be used. Some think emotional intelligence can be learned and then strengthened, while others claim it is something that you are born with. This field of study is growing so fast that researchers are constantly amending even their own definitions. Three Main Definitions of EI Ability EI model- This is “the ability to perceive emotion, integrate emotion to facilitate thought, understand emotions and to regulate emotions to promote personal growth”. 1. Perceiving emotions is the ability to spot and decipher emotions in faces, pictures, voices and cultural artifacts. This represents a basic aspect of emotional intelligence, as it creates the opportunity for all other processing of emotional information to take place. 2. Using emotions is the ability to apply emotions to cognitive activities such as thinking and problem solving. This allows the emotionally intelligence person to use their moods to better manage their lives. 3. Understanding emotions I show we interpret the language of emotion and thus are able to better manage complicated emotional relationships. 4. Managing emotions is the way we regulate our own emotions and those of other people so that we achieve optimum results. Mixed models of EI – This is the model introduced by Daniel Goleman that defines EI as a wide range of competencies and skills that drive leadership performance. There are four main tenets:

1. Self –awareness is the ability to understand your emotions, recognize their impact, and use them to inform decisions. 2. Self-management involves controlling your emotions and impulses and adapting to circumstances. 3. Social awareness is the ability to sense, understand, and react to the emotions of others in social situations. 4. Relationship management is the ability to inspire, influence, and connect with others to manage conflict. Trait EI model – Trait EI is “a constellation of emotion – related- self perceptions located at the lower level of personality”. Trait EI refers to an individual’s own perceptions of their emotional abilities, as opposed to the ability-based model which refers to actual abilities. However, assessing actual abilities has proven highly resistant to scientific measurement, so the reality is that there may actually be little to choose between them. When you manage your emotions…..you manage your stress…. How do you currently manage your stress and emotions?

Preparing Experience The key to successful habit is consistency. There are many psychology experts who believe that you can form a habit in 21 days and hence you can use three weeks of your time to form a habit force of thinking positive thoughts focusing on your end goals. However, in most cases you will not know it because once the habit is formed you will subconsciously visualize achievement of your end goals by studying your vision. At all times you must ensure that you remain consistent and have a timed ritual to provide energy, attention and focus to your end goal. You can take ownership of your mental power. At all times you must believe in yourself to achieve your end goals and remain flexible to change your mean goals to achieve the final outcome in your life. Prepare your experience by reflecting before it happens. Give conscious thought to how you would like situations to be. Set aside time in the morning for yourself and be strongly disciplined with this habit. Use this period to plan your week. Visualize your encounters and what you want to achieve. Communication tip: Always remember that the key principle in that the quality of your life is the quality of your communication. This means the way you communicate with others and, more importantly, the way that you communicate with yourself. What you focus on you will get.

Vision Boards To help you create the story of your life, utilize a story or vision board. Seek out pictures, words, and phrases, anything that helps you to feel inspired. Place them on the board and look at them each and every day. Visualize the life that you want….feel as if you already have it….focus on the experience…..Ideas will come to you for how you can act to create this life experience…. Get into the feeling place of already having it. You must tune the frequency of energy in your body to correspond with positive thought to become in alignment with what it is that you are truly wanting. Joy = Joy Sorrow = Sorrow

Affirmations Self-affirmations are positive statements or self-scripts that can shape the subconscious so that you will be able to develop a positive thought process. It will help you have a more positive perception of yourself. Affirmations can help you to modify harmful behaviors or achieve goals, and they can also help undo the harm cause by negative self-talk, those things which we repeatedly tell ourselves (or which other people repeatedly tell us) that contribute to a negative selfperception. Affirmations are simple to create and use, but you will need commitment to make them work. Here are some pointers to help you get the most out of these powerful tools. To assist you in using your affirmations: Think of your positive attributes. Think of what negative self-talk you would like to counteract or what positive goals that you want to achieve. Prioritize your list of affirmations and what to work at. Compose a list of your affirmations. Write them down. Match up some of your positive attributes with your goals. Make your affirmations visible so you will be able to use them on a day to day basis. Continue using your affirmations even if you’re feeling better or all around doing better in life. It will continue. Focus your energy and concentration on receptive vibrations such as telling yourself that you deserve happiness and success. You must also keep repeating to yourself that happiness, success and abundance is on its way to greet you and provide you all the success and happiness that you deserve.

I feel grateful for all of the new experiences that are coming my way……I give up complaining about the way that things are…..

Living a Balanced Lifestyle Balance is important. When one aspect of our life becomes too dominant we lost that balance and experience conflict and unhappiness. It’s not easy and sometimes it feels like a juggling match but if we develop some healthy habits it is possible to achieve balance in a relaxed and calm way. Don’t forget the amount of time you devote to each aspect of your life will undergo fluctuation. It’s all a matter of realizing the natural flow of life and giving the right amount of attention to all aspects of our daily living.

10 tips on leading a balanced life 1.

Go home from work on time. 2. Don’t be a yes person. 3. Go to bed and get up and the same time every day. 4. Slow down 5. Don’t buy into the culture around you if you don’t want to. 6. Create your own sub-culture involving your friends and family. 7. Recognize you have the right to be healthier than those around you. 8. Do something meaningful in your spare time. 9. Let go of the need to buy the next big thing. 10. Develop compassion, patience and tolerance for your fellow people.

The truth is that which is a very simple concept, it is only natural that humans would seek what is true. What is not natural is our desire to bend the truth or reject it all together. We deceive ourselves into thinking that lies and other falsehoods are themselves good and are left with emptiness and misery as a result. This line of thinking is incorrect. Balancing your truth in life can be one of the most important things you achieve in your life.

Cleaning for Clarity

To experience the effectiveness of the Law of Attraction and to bring positivity into your life, you must be able to clear the clutter from your mind to allow positive thoughts to grow. For this you must understand that any thought when provided attention will multiply into more thoughts. Thus, if you think positively, the positive thoughts will multiply resulting in you attracting positivity into your life. The fuel for any thought process both negative and positive is providing attention to the thought process. With the attention of thought you simply die back into nothingness from which it was born. You can use this principle to remove the negative thoughts form your mind before you start to feel overwhelmed by the negative thought process. Negative thoughts will stave due to lack of attention and soon your mind will be back to thinking positive.

Positive thoughts are creative forces and they arise from abundance and love. Your being has abundant capacity to generate positive and creative thoughts which when active can help you clear your mind from the clutter of negative thoughts to transform your mind with conditioned thinking.

If you have an issue or a problem that must be solved, practice the cleaning the clutter for clarity process. Clean out a drawer, your bedroom, or section of your house. Organizing the clutter around you will support you in cleaning out the clutter of your own mind. Problem solve seeking the solution to your problem while you are cleaning out the clutter. When you reach the end of the process of your cleaning, decide on the best solution to your problem.
