Our Nature Garden We have been enjoying having lots of fun in our nature garden recently – particularly as we enter autumn we have loved seeing the leaves change colour and finding all sorts of bugs and insects!
come and chat to me at anytime, leave a message or give me a call. We have a strict sickness policy at nursery thereby if your child has had sickness or diarrhoea they will not be able to return to nursery until 48hrs after the last bout. We have a half term this month for all term time only grant children which we break up for on Friday 18th October and are back on Monday 4th November, have a nice time! Frogs (3-5’s) We have been learning harvest and Autumn based songs which we enjoyed singing to the residents in the care home opposite. We have been exploring how the outdoor environment is changing and have been spending lots of time in the Nature Garden and talking about why the leaves are changing colours. We have been collecting things from the nature garden and creating our own Nature Collages, leaf printing and leaf rubbings. We talked about farmers and what they do for us at harvest –what food they provide us and where it comes from. Thank you very much for all the food donations – we took them to the care home where the residents very much appreciated all you donated.
Please Remember! Don’t Forget! Please ensure that you bring suitable outdoor clothing for your child; i.e. – waterproof coats, wellington boots, hats, scarves and gloves. We actively encourage playing outdoors in all weather conditions. If your child is not suitably equipped for outdoor play they will miss out
