8 higher education and research institutions in the Toulouse area, federated in the Toulouse AgriCampus consortium, jointly offer the Agrofood Chain Masterâ€™s programme. The objective of this 2-year multidisciplinary programme is to create awareness of the scientific, social and economic realities of the modern Agrofood industry and to provide scientific and practical training in an international context.
Fluids Engineering for Industrial Processes (50% in French- 50% in English)
Applications are related to fluid flows in petroleum and chemical engineering and energy transformation. Lectures concentrate on physics and the modelling of transport phenomena in multiphase flows: bubbles, drops, granular media, emulsions and foams. Practical applications complement advanced courses on turbulence, coupling chemical reactions and also flows, heat and mass transfer. Students will be trained to work with Computational Fluid Dynamics tools such as commercial codes but also research and industrial software.
Electrical Engineering Systems (50% in French- 50% in English)
This Masterâ€™s degree course focuses on the Optimised Conversion of Electrical Energy. The programme deals with different constituting elements of the energy conversion chain and with multi-scale advanced design of electrical systems. It proposes a systems approach with different energy sources like static or electromechanical conversion structures and appropriate associated controls. The course is supplemented by permanent links with the job market. For their final study project, students can do the work placement in the workplace or in research and development laboratories.
Electronic systems for embedded applications and communications (50% in French- 50% in English)
This training course targets the field of electronic systems for embedded applications and Communications. The course focus on the design of integrated RF circuits, Antennas and digital signal processing and images. Course content provides a basic background in such areas as signal theory and processiong, electromagnetics, circuit theory and is based on project-oriented learning. Finally, the contact with industry and the research world and the professionnalization of Lessons are delivered within 24 months of training, since students are required to work in the research laboratories of our industrial partners and will be able to do interships in companies or in R&D laboratories.

Technology transfer: a priority
Many industrial partners support research and our laboratories are fitted out with state of the art technical equipment. We focus on improving knowledge through industrial applications and technological transfer. - 10 Million Euros are devoted to collaborative sponsored research contracts per year - creation of SME’s - licensing policy - about 120 French patents filed by INP or industrial partners, - 40 INP international patents - 16 R&D projects carried out under the Sixth framework program with 3,6 million Euros of financial support from the European Commission.
