MAIN LINE HEALTH 131,000 SF Healthcare Design

Main Line Health is an organization that provides healthcare systems for people in the city of Philadelphia and its western suburbs. The three-story building my team and I designed is essentially divided in half; dedicating each side to a specific use. The left-hand side is a clinic center that has doctors offices and exam rooms for patient treatment. The right-hand side is a fitness and wellness center with an expansive gym as well as several swimming pools. I was responsible for working on Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. I also developed new finish and furniture standards for this client.

THE ARCHER GROUP 27,000 SF Commercial Design

The Archer Group is a digital and brand agency that focuses on developing experiences for their clients. The company hones in on creating strategies and tactics which help their clients stand out from competitors. The renovated two-story space consists of an open office as well as a new collaborative staircase which connects the two floors internally. During this project, I was responsible for producing Construction Documents which were done in Revit. THE XY 10,000 SF Hospitality Studio

The XY was a group project that dealt with designing a Boutique Hotel in Philadelphia. The building was four floors and needed to incorporate a main lobby, a restaurant, an amenity space, an entertainment space, and a variety of guest rooms. My team and I decided to create a look that emulated a man’s suit. The sharp, refined edges of a suit demonstrate the amount of craft and skill put into creating just one. By setting and expressing the tone given from a man in suit, a masculine, tailored ambiance is represented spatially in the design.

GRAND VIEW HEALTH 13,000 SF Healthcare Design

Grand View Health is an outpatient center located in eastern Pennsylvania that provides health technology and services. The renovated portion of the building consists of an Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as a Timeshare for doctors. I was responsible for working on Schematic Design, Design Development, Interior Renderings, and Construction Documents. I mainly focused on Reflected Ceiling Plans, Wall and Floor Finish Plans, and Interior Elevations. I also developed new finish and furniture standards for this client.

CITI GROUP 34,300 SF Commercial Design

Citi Group is a financial services and investment bank corporation. The renovated first floor space consists of an open office as well as a new collaborative cafe which serves as a focal point when entering the building. Citi Group wanted the design to resemble the area in which it was located, so my team and I developed concepts revolving around geographical features. During this project, I was responsible for producing Interior Renderings, creating Design Development packages, and selecting finishes.

This client is a not-for-profit health service corporation. The renovated four-story space consists of an open office as well as a new collaborative cafe which serves as a focal point on the first floor. During this project, I was responsible for producing Construction Documents which were done in Revit. I mainly focused on the Construction Plans, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Finish Plans, and Interior Elevations.

TRACE FORENSICS 55,000 SF Senior Thesis

Trace Forensics was my Senior Thesis project which consisted of a forensics laboratory and an open office setting. The main feature is the interior courtyard which serves as a bridge between departments. Once evidence is handed in to the laboratory, a chain of events takes place before it is analyzed and filed away. By creating a centralized location which connects people together, this chain becomes much more streamlined and creates a more efficient workplace.

PROJECT PROPOSAL Crime labs for forensic science are becoming much higher in demand as the crime rates across the world increase. Scientists, technicians and government officials all deal with this field and require allocated spaces for their work. It is important to address this issue and provide people with a functional, aesthetically pleasing, profitable facility. Corruption within the forensic science industry is beginning to increase as well. Due to the increasing number of cases, more corruption occurs within the field because there is not enough time to handle each individual case with as much care. Evidence is not being documented correctly and people are disregarding critical information that is given to them because of time constraints. Mistakes that occur can result from poor support, a lack of training or insufficient resources. By creating a space that alleviates the amount of stress and pressure put on employees, the work environment will improve and diminish the crimes being committed within the field.
