Orlando Munoz for Presidential Stamp These stamps were beautifully executed for such a small format and the concept is fantastic. From the selection of the presidents, to the type treatment using each President's signature speech and overall color treatment these series of illustrated stamps are brilliant.

Judges’ choice

Message for Black Hills Ammunition 2014 Survival Kit Credits: The Message Team and Jon Simpson, Simpsons Printing Not only a great, creative way to catch an editor’s attention the execution on the Black Hills Ammunition Survival Kit was executed flawlessly and contained everything a person needs to survive the end of the world. — Darren Brickel, Karsh Hagan

Judges’ choice

Philly Ted’s Cheesesteaks for Celebrities Ordering Cheesesteaks Credits: Ted English, Writer; Joe Conklin, Celebrity Voices; Ted English, Philly Ted’s Voice; John Derrek, KSLT Radio Production and Announcer I picked the celebrity cheesecake campaign mainly because no one, and I mean no one, produces radio like that any more. I haven’t heard entertaining radio for years because it’s devolved into direct response, which is too bad because of the frequency of the medium, spots quickly annoying. Not this effort. It was such a blast from the past, that I had to choose it. — Dan Ligon, Made Movement

Judges’ choice SDSM&T University Relations for STEMinist Campaign Credits: Jon Michaels, Creative Director/Graphic Designer Madison Zimmerman-Dusek, Graphic Designer Dani Doran, Copy Writer I'm always impressed when a team can offer design that is interesting yet narrowed down to its simplest, refined components so the consumer/target has a chance to not only comprehend the message but remember it. I think their design was fresh, memorable and well integrated across all platforms. — Rachael Donaldson, Karsh Hagan

Judges’ choice

Message for Jackalope Jerky Credits: The Message Team The Jackalope Jerky package was beautiful. The attention to craft and details are very evident in everything from the typography on the tags, to the "Jackalope" fur lining the bottom of the box. It's very cool self promo piece. — Adam Nelson, Victors & Spoils

Best of show A TOMMY Award goes to:

Black Hills & Badlands Tourism Association for Black Hills and Badlands Great American Road Trip Road Show Credits: Mat Peters, Marketing Project Manager Kyler Huber, Intern Cassie Schaeffer, Regional Sales Director Rita Franz, Projects Assistant Mallory Hook, Executive Administrative Assistant Mike Gussiaas, Vice President of Marketing Nort Johnson, President

Best of show Black Hills & Badlands Tourism Association The Black Hills and Badlands Great American Road Trip campaign did a magnificent job of using an American icon in a unique and fun way. This kind of marketing is very effective when done correctly. Bring a State to the target audience is not easily done and they executed this beautifully. The idea was exceptional and the costumes were amazing. Execution is critical for any idea and they nailed it. This comprehensive campaign demonstrated a very creative, multi-layered approach on getting your message out there and break through. The personification and execution of the heads costumes were incredible — love to see an organization take a risk like that and have some fun.
