SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES
Skilled nursing facilities (also known as nursing homes or long-term care facilities) provide 24 hour care, including both rehabilitation and custodial care. Each facility is licensed, regulated, inspected, and/or certified at the state and federal levels. Facilities must provide nursing service 24 hours a day and a minimum of one full-time registered nurse on staff at all times.
