Το νεοκλασικό μέγαρο της Εθνικής Τράπεζας κτίστηκε το 1906 από τον Βολιώτη αρχιτέκτονα Κώστα Αργύρη. Στο ισόγειο ήταν οι αίθουσες συναλλαγών, ενώ στον πρώτο όροφο υπήρχε η κατοικία του εκάστοτε διευθυντή. Η Τράπεζα Αθηνών ήταν γνωστή και ως «Τράπεζα Κοσμαδόπουλου».
