Nowadays,  in  the  city  center  of  Valencia,  there  is             a  desolated  area  enclosed  by  a  wall  which  can’t  be           crossed  walking  and  it  also  divides  the  city  in  about   2  miles.  The  principal  idea  of  this  project  is  to  offer  a  large  range   of  connections  that  would  join  the  city  again  and  it  would  be  the   main  way  to  the  historic  city  center.  Furthermore,  the  station  in   itself  is  surrounded  by  green  zones  and  walkways  that  act  as  a   union   between   the   both   sides   of   the   city.   union

This new  station  pro       vides  a  high  speed         connection   between   Valencia  and  Barcelona  with   the  Spanish  train  AVE  which   only   takes   90   minutes.   From   2014  on,  a  new  connection  will   be  opened  between  Barcelo- be na   and   Perpignan   (France)   which   can   be   used   by   the   Valencia   train   station   to   reach   beyond   the   limits   of   S p a i n

The  project  area  is  close  to  the  THYSSENKRUPP           facory  and  this  fact  is  making  people  to  move  out.  The  plan           is  to  convert  an  industrial  old  zone  into  a  residential  and  office   resort  to  avoid  the  difference  between  social  classes.  This  experimental   group  of  modules  is  protected  from  train  rails  and  roads  with  other  resi- dential   buildings   and   green   zones.

DORTMUND   Dividing  the  traditional  house  in  modul       es  and  joining  them  according  to  our         needs,   we   can   create   infinite   typolo- gies.  It  is  possible  that  your  home  is  not  comple- te  and  you  need  to  share  one  of  the  modules  to   live  comfortable.   This  formula  is  specially  for  young  people  and   temporary  housing.  It  allows  a  cheap  way  of  life   and  it  also  creates  relationships  between  all  the   users. Amply variate   of   buildings   giving   to   the   residential   area   the  principal  needs  like  cultural,   markets,  sports,  etc.

The zig-zag  system  offers  a  quick  access  as  much         to  the         green  zones  as  to  the  commercial           streets.  The  idea  is  to  join  different  kinds  of  building  like   schools,  museums,  libraries  and  commercial  stores  to  complete   the  residential  area.  An  office  area,  with  the  same  characteris- tics  as  the  residential  buildings,  is  a  good  proposal  to  build  next   to   the   THYSSENKRUPP’s   central   office   and   museum.

The  project  is  located  in  the  historic  center  of  Valencia.  This  area           is  characterized  by  an  irregular  composition  of  streets  which  is  close           to  the  central  market  and  the  famous  school  Escuelas  Pías.  The           building   invites   to   discover   the   architecture   from   a   different   point   of   view  situated  in  an  interesting  historical  zone.  This  new  project  offers  expositions,   view a  library,  special  rooms  for  workshops  or  classes,  and  even  a  distinguished  place   with  a  beautiful  atmosphere  to  have  coffee  where  an  architect  would  really  enjoy.   The  ground-floor  would  be  like  a  “street  exposition”  for  the  walkers  and  its  compo- sition  may  change  with  a  modern  moving  walls  mechanism  according  to  the  needs.
