Lt. Col. Sukarman Husen says the blast occurred Monday in
West Nusatenggara province, but school officials have pre-
vented officers from entering the building to investigate. Husen said the body of a 30year-old man was discovered Tuesday on a bus trying to leave the school. Police suspect the man was an instructor at the school and the alleged bomb-maker.
Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation, has been battling terrorists since 2002 when al-Qaida-linked militants attacked two nightclubs on Bali Island, killing 202 people, mostly foreigners. In recent months, security forces have become their main target.
