Ladies of the Titanic Saturday, March 15 12:00 p.m.—1:30 p.m.

Celebrate Women’s History Month from a unique perspective! Step back in time and meet the passengers from the Titanic. Hear eyewitness accounts from survivors and learn some unknown facts. See the latest fashions from 1912 and compare what women were wearing in first, second and third class sections of the ship. View a Titanic display and participate in trivia and memory games. Don’t miss this exciting presentation by Enter Another World Distinctive Events. Registration is required by Thursday, March 13. To register, call 856-694-2833. This program is appropriate for adults and children in sixth grade and up.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR Seventh Annual “Meet the Authors” Event Saturday, April 12 1:00 p.m.—3:00 p.m. In celebration of National Library Week (April 13-19), LOGICAL will be hosting the seventh annual “Meet the Authors” event on Saturday, April 12, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Free Public Library of Monroe Township. This free event is sponsored by LOGICAL, a group of nine Gloucester County libraries working together to offer the most resources possible. Local authors will be on hand to discuss and sell their books. Refreshments will be served. Spotlight on...the Online Catalog To place a hold on library materials from home: 1. Go to the library’s website at www.ftlnj.org. 2. Under “Quick Links,” click on “Catalog.” 3. Search for the item by selecting title, author, subject, etc. from the drop down menu. 4. Select the record for the item that you want. 5. Click on “Place Hold” under “Item Details.” 6. Under “Library ID,” enter the entire number on the back of your library card. 7. Under “Pickup at,” choose the library where you want to pick up the book. 7. Click “Place Hold.”

Enter your library card number in the top right-hand box labeled “Library ID.” 4. Click on “Login to the e-library OPAC.” 5. Click on “My Account” and then “Renew My Materials.” 6. Check off the item(s) that you would like to renew. 7. Click on “Renew Selected Items.”

UPCOMING PROGRAMS Just for Toddlers Storytime March 11 10:30am Toddlers ages 12 to 24 months and a caregiver are invited to join Miss Linda in the Children’s Library for stories, rhymes, fingerplays, and more. Registration is requested. This will be the only Toddlers Storytime in March. (856) 694-2833

Evening Storytime and Craft Thursday, March 13 6:30pm to 7:15pm Join

us in the Children's Library for these special storytimes and craft hosted by 7th grade students from Delsea Middle School. Children ages 3 to 8 are welcome with a caregiver. This event is a joint project of the Franklin Township Library, Delsea Middle and High School Media Centers, and Janvier, Main Road and Reutter School Libraries. No registration is required.

Preschool Storytimes Every Wednesday at 10:30am through May 28th Children ages 3 to 6 with a caregiver are invited to join Miss Linda in the Children's Library for storytime. No registration required. (No storytime on April 30)

Email Basics Wednesday, March 26 9:00am to 10:00am Learn about free web-based email. Participants will sign up for a Yahoo! email account. You must be comfortable using a mouse. This class is open to adults only. Class size is limited so register at the library or call (856) 694-2833 to reserve your seat now. Deadline to register is Monday, March 24.
