The Battles of Trenton Join us on Wednesday, March 27, from 6:30 to 7:30pm for this special program. Using maps, portraits, and other visual aids, Richard Patterson examines the events that led up to Washington’s first great victory: his plans for attack, the combatants, strategy, outcome, and human side of one of the more famous battles in US history. This program is most suitable for grades 7 and up. Registration is required by Monday, March 25. Please call the library to register at (856) 694-2833. This program is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Library Hours: Monday—Thursday 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sixth Annual In celebration of National Library Week (April 14-20), LOGICAL will be hosting the sixth annual “Meet the Authors” event on Saturday, April 20, from 1 to 3pm at the Free Public Library of Monroe Township. This free event is sponsored by LOGICAL, a group of nine Gloucester County Libraries including the Franklin Township Library, working together to offer the most complete resources possible. Over 40 authors will be present to discuss and sell their books. Refreshments will be served. Focusing on busy families, Yum Food & Fun for Kids presents ways to serve fresh fruits, vegetables and main meals in easy and enjoyable ways. Email Basics Class Friday, March 22 9 to 10am Learn about free web-based email. Participants will sign up for a Yahoo! email account. You must be comfortable using a mouse. This class is open to adults only. Class size is limited so register at the library or call (856) 694-2833 to reserve your seat. Because of this class, the internet stations will not be available to the public until 10:30am.
