WeSC STORY BRAND HISTORY

The name We Are the Superlative Conspiracy [WeSC] comes from the sense of unity that has always been exceptional in the skateboarding community - the creativity, the attitude and the people is what laid the foundation of WeSC. Founded by five guys with a background in skate- and snowboarding, WeSC set out to be a brand that would be a mix of streetwear and fashion; where elements of cultures such as skateboarding, art and music would be combined with fashionable design to create products that caters to the streetfashion consumer. The cornerstones of WeSC are punk mentality, creativity, community and having fun - it’s about going your own way, being proud of that and be creative. This is something that has been WeSC’s mission since day one and which is applied to all parts of the brand: the staff, the people, the stores, the design and the way we are. With activities in arts, skateboarding, snowboarding, music, acting, producing and more on a daily basis, we are proud to say that we live our brand - the WeSC way: it’s not a brand that makes clothing, it’s a lifestyle that we all enjoy and with/for causes that we support. Creativity at its’ finest.

WeACTIVISTS

The most important part of the Superlative Conspiracy are the people. It’s the people who are and have the ideas, the creativity and the purpose and it’s one of the things we enjoy the most! WeSC has a family of WeActivists. The WeActivists are the ones flying the flag of the Superlative Conspiracy and the people who

inspire, and activate, us on a daily basis. We also activate them - hence the name WeActivists. It’s a group of skateboarders, musicians, artists, dj’s, snowboarders, actors, writers, a chef, photographers and much more who are all flying the flag of WeSC and being part of the brand in all we do. It’s these people, this group of creatives, that makes our brand what it is. It’s family and that’s what we love about it. In the Superlative Conspiracy, things move quickly. We are active, out there and always have things happening. Events, concerts, launches, new products and exciting projects all over the world. With a presence in 31 countries, 30 own concept stores worldwide including prime locations in New York, LA, Stockholm, Osaka, Paris, Berlin, Athens, Hong Kong and more, we are constantly spreading the word of who we are, what we do and what we stand for. Our collections strive to be fashionable, wearable and fun - something different and special for creatives and likeminded people all over the world. WeSC is a nice company and brand - and that is something we’re proud of. WeACTIVISTS The WeSC Icon is a constructed representation of two hands meeting in a high five. The feeling you have when you do this gesture and action is how we want life to feel and is what we chose to represent our brand!

The WeSC Yellow - our color comes from the yellow you will find on curbs all over the world. It represents our connection to the streets; in terms of the culture, skateboarding and mentality that we come from and still have. It's about being out there - on the streets.

The Superlative Conspiracy represents the group of people that we are and surround ourselves with: a global movement and group that all over the world represents the brand, creates, inspires and are likeminded individuals doing what they love.

The WeActivists are a group of talented curatives in different fields of work - from skateboarding, snowboarding, arts, music, photography to chefs, winemakers, producers and more! WeSC activate them - they activate us. Being a WeActivist is being part of our family and is about having fun, going your own way and doing so with a humble mind and spirit. chose to represent our brand!

WeSC's COMMUNICATION We're intellectual slackers - and what this refers to is that we like smart, intellectual and talented individuals who also know how to kick back and have fun! We strive for our communication to be just this, and to appeal to the creative people all over the world. Our communication is about engaging people in what we do and in return get them to tell their stories as well as share ours.


WeACTIVISM One of the most important components of the Superlative Conspiracy is our WeActivists. A WeActivist is someone that is extremely good at what they do, world famous or totally unknown. Someone that has a streetwise mentality, that chooses his or her own path with a humble persona. A WeActivist is an informal ambassador that flies the flag of the Superlative Conspiracy in a variety of subcultures such as skate, music, film, art and so on. Our unique partnership with the WeActivists is sometimes tight and sometimes loose. WeSC loves to be challenged and wants to constantly seek

out creative partnerships to grow the pond accordingly. A great thing about all WeActivists is that they possess a certain something that reaches far beyond their main act of excellence. That something that makes a skateboarder more than an athlete, a party animal more than a freeloader and a DJ more than a mixed CD. That thing that a poker player needs to make the historic moves and an actor must acquire not to be a mere marionette. Of course we are talking about the power of creativity and inspiration here, a force flowing from the WeActivists like saliva from a one year old.
