Who is the artist Ann Fatman • Name: Ann • Age: 25 • Location: Estonia • Freelance Musician She bought her first acoustic guitar in 2007. For that entire year she spent composing songs. She is currently unsigned and works by herself. The name ‘Fatman’ is apparently an inside joke.

So what’s the idea?

Bored? Angry? Frustrated?

Samples of clothing

The idea Based on the video I just showed you I was hoping to similar idea. Such are mixing the live performance with a narrative which maybe set outside e.g in the park. In the first verse a girl being overwhelmed by school so she is failing in their subjects. The girl’s parent’s are not happy with the child’s effort therefore take control. Now the child feeling trapped since they feel as if they have no control over their lives.

The chorus speaks about rebelling against society and being free. This will show the girl being happy and dancing around, laughing etc

The idea In the second verse the child now being bored with everything. They want to stand out from everyone but they can’t because they won’t be liked. So they dress as they same as their friends to fit in but they hate being just feeling of being someone they are not therefore they rebel. This would be set some in a park etc.

In the third verse it appears that the child has now grown up and has a family. However all she appears to do is housework all day, be a trophy wife; the woman is frustrated at what her life has become she thinks back to her free days. This would be set in a kitchen.

Target Audience • The target audience will be aimed at teenagers aged between 14 to 17 because they might have similar things going on in there live making the song more relatable. Also it will particularly be aimed at females because the vocalist is female so then you would assume it is in the perceptive of a female. • Since there will be a young audience. I would like to keep my video suitable for that age. Therefore I preferably I would like to avoid voyeurism because that wouldn’t go with the star persona that I’ve created and it may send out the wrong message. • Consequently Amplification will mainly be used making it an Interpretative video. • There will be close ups of the vocalist but this depends on my cast, they could be camera shy. So there have to be some negotiating.

Cast

Equipment To film the music video I will be using HDC-HS300 camera. Then a mac to edit the video. This is because I have easy to access to the equipment and since it’s provided by the school no payment is required. Unless I lose it.

Friends will hopefully cast in the music video. I picked these because they looks slightly similar to the songwriter and the video I am basing it on. They are easy to reach and so if anything happens I can contact them last minute.

These people will hopefully cast in the music video. I picked these because they looks slightly similar to the songwriter and the video I am basing it on. They are easy to reach and I know them so they (hopefully) may not require a bribe. If problem arise then I may have to cast in the music video as well.

Locations The music video will be predominantly outside with a lot of nature; a rural area such as Saint Chads park or Hainault forest. Idly I want to keep everything local so no extensive amount of travelling has to be done. I would like there to be contrast so I will use a city or a busy area to represent this. However I will only do this if I have enough time to shoot. There is only one particular scene when it will be inside which is the house scene. Most of the lighting will be natural the only artificial light will be for the house scene.

Outline of the budget Glue - £1 Wool - £3 Paper - £1 Sticky tape -£2 Cardboard - £3

Most of the props I already have or I can easily make. How there many be small cost for the materials.

Travelling £0

Makeup - £5

There shouldn’t be a lot of travelling since nearly everything will be done locally.

Makeup shouldn’t be a problems since a lot shan’t be used.

Permission/evidence I sent an email to the song writer and got a fast response. She has no problems with me using her song therefore there are no set backs.
