FOR MANDELA DAY WINNER ANTOINETTE REINECKE “GOGO”

ANNUAL PHOTO COMPETITION BOOK

WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER “We are more afraid of our Power than our inadequacies. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us” Nelson Mandela What began as a crazy idea at 3am one morning in April 2016, astonishingly became one of the most publicised and talked about campaigns of the year. It can only be testimony to the incredible energy of the great Mr Nelson Mandela guiding the initiative every step of the way. I am blessed to have had the best team of professionals to help make this campaign so successful. The main aim was to showcase the positive energy and beauty of our blessed country by uploading photos everyday which would ultimately culminate in this on-line book entitled 67 PHOTOS FOR MANDELA DAY. That aim has been achieved and for that I am truly grateful. This is, however, just the beginning. The initiative started as The One Day In Time Photo Competition and has evolved into 67 Photos for Mandela Day - an ongoing campaign which is getting bigger and better by the day. I encourage all South Africans to follow in the positive steps of our legendary leader, Nelson Mandela, and continue to upload photos to show the world the magnitude and beauty of our great nation. Blessings and Love Chris Page Founder - One Day in Time and 67 Photos for Mandela Day

WORDS FROM MR MANDELA’S STYLIST “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.” Nelson Mandela As the founder and designer of Presidential Shirt, my aim, my hope, my prayer and vision is that we continue to find new and impactful ways to keep Nelson Mandela's legacy alive. Not just once a year on his birthday of July 18th, now known as Mandela Day, but every day in the way we conduct our lives and our business practices. Not just by wearing Madiba shirts but by the daily practice of Ubuntu (“I am because you are”). As we head towards 2017 my goal is to bring about new ways of creating business, cocreating with others and in this way provide new job opportunities for many in South Africa. We as South Africans have been so blessed to have lived during Nelson Mandela's life time - to have had such an exceptional Human Being lead us from Apartheid into the light of Freedom and Unity. It is now our duty to carry his torch forward, to ensure that his legacy, his dream, his hard work and the many sacrifices he made for our freedom, peace and unity continue for future generations of all South Africans, the African continent and the entire world. Desre Buirski Nelson Mandela’s Personal Stylist
