Don’t Miss the Cable Area Fall Fest CABLE – All the best things that you love about autumn will be on display at the annual Cable Area Fall Fest on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 23-24 in Cable. Early fall brings cooler temperatures, perfect for a road trip! It’s Colorama time, so many of the trees will be in beautiful hues of gold, red, and orange colors, courtesy of Mother Nature. The locals are kicking it up a notch by lining the roads and streets with cornstalks, hay bales and pumpkins. There will be live music, a car/ motorcycle/truck show, arts and crafts vendors, and food vendors. Activities kick off Friday with a fall harvest dessert contest at 3 p.m. You can sign up to be an “official” judge by contacting the Chamber of Commerce. The late afternoon and evening offerings include a Northwoods-style fish fry at 5 p.m., the beer and wine garden starting
