Birthday Parties at The Race Centre If you’re struggling to find something to do for your child’s next birthday party, then look no further than The Race Centre in Chandler’s Ford. The facility is home to 10 fully linked professional racing simulators, each with full driving controls and whopping 3 metre HD projection screens! Upon arriving, the group receives a full briefing, including where to find the button for the horn! They then head out on track for their practice session, setting their best lap times to form the grid for the racing.
Warsash U3A Warsash U3A is a fun and enjoyable way for retired folk to keep mentally active by sharing their knowledge whilst enjoying the camaraderie and friendship of others. Come and enjoy a friendly, informal environment with like-minded people at the Warsash U3A. We offer a range of groups for, and run by, members. No previous qualifications or skills are required; all you need is enthusiasm and interest in the subjects you choose. Learn new skills or refresh existing ones. Our membership is generally in the region of 150. We have a monthly meeting on the 2nd Friday with a guest speaker on varied subjects from Tiller Girl to Stunt Performer. When they head out for their races, all 10 drivers are on the grid for the start, normally followed by a spectacular incident at the first corner! After the racing, the top 3 drivers each receive a trophy for their efforts. Prices start from just £185, and fresh hot pizza can be ordered as an optional addition. The Race Centre also runs special sessions for Under 18s in the school holidays, just £12 per driver, and new for 2017, adults can drive for half price in these sessions too!
