The Work
CONCEPT &SCHEMATIC DESIGN DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
• define the vision and design direction
• floor plan layouts based on a site survey
• vision and design direction solidified
• finish selections
• budget for interior finishes, furnishings, and decorative specialties.
• Prepare a Construction Set of drawings capturing all design decisions, including millwork details, for the General Contractor's use in conjunction with the Architectural drawings.
• Review finish submittals and shop drawings for all semi-custom and custom items.
• Coordinate delivery of items to an owner-engaged receiving warehouse, if required.
• Meet custom vendors on-site for field verifications, as required.
• Coordination with GC for any decorative lighting or other FF+E items that require contractor installation.
CONSTRUCTION ADMIN & STYLING
• Walkthroughs of the site to assess progress
• understand upcoming project milestones and address any questions or concerns as they arise
• Provide any supplemental sketches or details required as needed

• Manage delivery and installation of all items to the site by a third party (i.e., receiving warehouse, banquette vendor, drapery manufacturer, etc.).

The
process
This west Philly Victorian had beautiful bones, but was in desperate need for an upgrade. The new owners wanted a fun space that would serve as the hub of their family and friends. A place to gather, eat, work and live. Increasing light and flow was a huge priority for this space.
Drawing inspiration from modern Mexico City and the French country side, we created a dynamic, multi-function space.
The process
Agave Tequila Bar is a complete renovation of a property in beautiful Stone Harbor, within walking distance of the beach.
Together, we combined a soft Scandinavian color palette with Mexican textures and 1950s beach nostalgia.
