HOURS, CHANGES, CONSTRUCTION Starting today, May 29th the Lewis Army Museum will have new operating hours. Wednesday to Saturday from 11am-4pm. The museum features 10 galleries, an acre of outdoor exhibits that includes a UH-1 “Huey” helicopter, and a gift store with assortment of books, clothing, & and souvenirs. May 31 – June 2 - McChord Fitness Center closed due to electrical system repair. June 1 – MWR Facilities in Lewis Main & McChord will have new hours. Hours at Jensen and Sheridan Gyms will not change. Download schedule here. JBLM Transition Center moved–due to office renovation, the transition center is temporarily re-locating to the back end of Room 300 in Waller Hall (old JPPSO), until it’s done. Please expect increased waiting times and delays in processing. For questions, call 253-967-3582. June 15 – end of Pendleton project. A section of Pendleton Ave and one of its cross streets is scheduled to reopen on June 1st and will open 2-weeks later. Pendleton Ave from 7th to 12th Streets and 14th Street North, with access to the PX & Commissary will open on June 15th. Extended Traffic Interruptions is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 2013.
