please consider There are some important tips to consider when it comes to designing your new kitchen. Consider for a moment the reason for your new kitchen. Are you preparing your property for sale? Then it is best to research the demographic of potential buyers in your area. Are you planning on starting a family? Small children love to be around their parents, and if your in the kitchens then they will be too. Will you need space for the laptop, a television, a coffee machine, an entertainers refrigerator? Some people find it much easier to convey their thoughts with images. Go crazy, cut pics out of magazines or create a collage using images found on the world wide web. Take a look at your current kitchen. Make a list of all of the theings that you like about it, and all of the things that you dislike. Now dream - if your budget and or room constraints were not an issue, make a list of all of the things that you would love to have in your dream kitchen. Consider for a moment all of the activities that currently take place in your kitchen, and those that will happen in your new kitchen. All of these aspects will help guide you with your decisions on what to include and or exclude when it comes down to desigining your new project.

Step 2.

................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ............................................................................... ............................................................................... ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................ ................................................................................

Step 3. Decide on your Layout

U SHAPE The U shape suits large kitchen spaces, it is particuarly great for families. It is functional and efficient and offers more cabinet and bench space than some other layouts. If you are looking for more room, consider adding more bench space like a G Shape.

L SHAPE The L shape is rather versatile and can suit many space options such as open living, small and or long rooms. It is a very popular choice as it offers free movability inside the kitchen and has a great working space.

L SHAPE with ISLAND This layout adds more workspace to the very popular L Shape Kitchen. It works well for entertaining, is family friendly and suits a larger room.

GALLEY The Galley is a highly functional kitchen layout and is the choice for many cooks and chefs. It is modern and contemporary. The user can access all areas of the kitchen smoothly and quickly.

STRAIGHT LINE A straight line is ideal for small and narrow kitchen spaces. However, also works well in large spaces. It is a simple design and often less expensive.

No matter what layout you choose. There will always be human traffic problems when it comes to using your kitchen. The best way to combat this is to follow one simple rule: The Kitchen Triangle.

The Kitchen Triangle

Chances are you have heard about the Kitchen Triangle. More often than not, the description of what the rule actually is - escapes people. So let us explain it now. The Triangle is formed by the placement of the fridge, stove and sink. The distance from your fridge to your stove, to your sink and back to your fridge should not be less than 10 feet and no more than 25 feet. If you apply this rule to your kitchen, it will make for ac comfortable space. If the area is less than 10 feet, people inside the kitchen will be falling all over each other. If the triangle area is larger than 25 feet, the area becomes too large and the enjoyment is lost from cooking due to tired feet.

Agile Space By analysing your kitchen requirements you will be able to ensure that your new kitchen space will work best for you. Consider your Food Storage, Kitchenware Storage, Cleaning Space, Preparation and Cooking Zones. Place them in areas that allow for agility, comfort, space and reach.
