Exotic Places.... Easter Island Explore the world’s most remote inhabited island, located in the Pacific Ocean over 2000 miles west of its motherland Chile. One of the most unusual sights to behold here is the presence of large stone Moai statues that were carved by native islanders as long ago as 900 years. Located close to the shore and facing toward the land, it is believed that the unique statues were built to represent ancestors to watch over and protect their descendants. Learn about the history of the island and how its landscape, fauna and inhabitants changed with the arrival of the Europeans. Wander through the scenic Rapa Nui National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kangaroo Island Separated from the Australian mainland 10,000 years ago this pristine island is just 70 miles southwest of Adelaide. Its natural beauty, untouched bushland and prolific wildlife attracts visitors from near and far. Spend the day exploring the wilderness in 4WD vehicles – the very best way to travel across its sand dunes and forests. Look for its indigenous kangaroos, wallabies, possums, New Zealand Fur Seals and many varieties of birdlife. The island is also noted for its honey and you will no doubt see plenty of vineyards as there are almost 30 wine growers here now.

Named as a new Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal is India’s crowning glory. Agra is also home to two more impressive works of architecture from the Mughal Empire - Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Discover the indelible mark left by India’s greatest Mughal ruler, Akbar. Jaipur, referred to as the “Pink City” because of its many pink colored buildings, were painted especially to welcome the Prince of Wales to the city in 1876. Marvel at the splendid Amber Fort, the 18th-century astronomical observatory, Jantar Mantar, and the unique-looking palace, Hawa Mahal. While in the city known for its enthusiasm for elephants, indulge in an Indian pastime - Elephant Polo. Play or watch this twist on traditional polo. There is nothing like trying to whack a ball with a mallet from atop a colossal mount.

Exciting Events! Panama Canal Cruise Dinner Sail under the famous Bridge of the Americas that crosses the manmade body of water dividing North and South America on a private yacht. Pass through the Miraflores Lock to the wide open Pacific Ocean while enjoying cocktails and gourmet cuisine freshly prepared by the expert staff. Then feel the beat of the music on board as you admire the splendid Panama City skyline. This is surely a night you’ll remember for years to come. Fiji Firewalkers Feast your eyes on the centuries-old Fijian ritual of Fire Walking at a private beach cocktail and dinner party, complete with traditional Meke entertainment and Lovo, the Fijian meal prepared in an underground oven. The ancient ceremony originates from the island of Beqa, where legend says the ability to walk on fire hot stones was given by a spirit god to the Sawau tribe and its descendants in return for his life. Today it is a symbol of Fijian culture and promotes a sense of strong community amongst its people – and provides an unforgettable memory for visitors to the islands.

Hot Air Ballooning over Masai Mara The excitement begins before dawn with the smell of Kenyan coffee as it arrives at your tent. As the first light of dawn appears you board your hot air balloon and gently ascend as the sun rises over the scenic Masai Mara. Floating silently above the treetops you get a sense of the vastness of the reserve as you intently watch for wildlife, including Africa’s “Big Five” awaking to the new day. It’s an awe-inspiring ride followed by a delicious champagne breakfast – and always a memorable highlight of any journey to Africa. Bali Performances Immerse yourself in the graceful and spiritual culture of Bali at a private performance of two of the island’s most famous dances. You can’t help but be drawn in to the story of Ramayana as depicted in the lively Kecak or Monkey Dance, where the monkey-like Vanara helps Prince Rama fight the evil King. And be mesmerized by the expressive Legong Dance, in which young girls in elaborate costumes enact a traditional romantic tale. Your Balinese cultural experience is accompanied by cocktails and dinner to make a truly special occasion.
