Dynamic Jewelry from Simple Origins A Series of Workshops Learn how to make beautiful pendants using inexpensive “blanks” by repurposing simple items. Students will transform mat board, glass tiles, washers, game pieces and sea glass into stunning jewelry with paper, inks, rubber stamps, markers and more. Please join instructors, Dana and Emily Marsh, in our “in-home craft store” studio located in Rahway. Our studio is located on the third floor of our home guarded by the friendly golden retriever, Kena. (Kena will NOT be in the room with participants.)
Workshop Costs and Information:
How much do the classes cost? Each workshop is $25 and two hours long.
What do I get for my class fee? You will receive personalized instruction and the opportunity to make 1 to 3 jewelry items depending upon the class (see description) and how quickly you work. Each student will receive a complimentary necklace to string their pendants on.
Do I need any special skills for each workshop? Absolutely not. Whether you are crafty or not, the techniques are easy to learn and require no specific skills other than a desire to have fun!
Do I need to take the classes in a specific order? Nope… there is no prerequisite. Each class can be taken separately without taking any other class before.
What is the class schedule for these workshops? Since it is the summertime, there is no set schedule. Choose the class you like, gather some friends to join you or come solo and we will fit you into a group. Let us know what time of day and day of the week works best for you and we will tailor a class to fit your schedule. We will get back to you with a couple of date options for you to choose from.
How large are the classes? Our goal is to make your workshop experience relaxing, fun and personal. We prefer a minimum of 4 students but no more than 6.
Where are the classes held? They are held in our studio on the third floor of our home. You get a workout climbing our stairs in addition to some crafting fun!
How do I pay? Cash is preferred, but checks are also gladly accepted. Please make checks payable to: Dana Marsh. You can pay the day of the class.
What if I need to cancel? We ask that you please give us at least 3 days notice as items will have been purchased specifically for your class.
