Intro

I, with a cheerful and enthusiastic personality comes from Kaoshiung. I, loves music, loves sports and all the beautifulness in this world.Recently being demobilized from the ROC army. I believe it's time for me to embrace the future. Achieved my bachelor degree from the department of industrial design of National Cheng- Kung University. The department also has a cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere which allows me to grow in both mental and academic.

Elements of Life

I believe having appropriate hobbies is a good way to nourish ones soul. To me, Music and sports are the two important elements of my life. Ever since I could remember, music was always around. Due to my fathers affection to english old songs. I've listened to a large amount of them. As I grow up, I get to make my own decisions, my taste towards music has varied and became more attracted to the world of music. It is also one of the resources of my ideas. Whether team sports like softball or personal sport events like jogging. They all played an important role in mt life. Besides strengthening your body. Team sports can help you learn how to behave in a team and how to encourage one another. Personal events will provide you a time to think and to communicate to yourself.

Self Assessments

As I grow up, English has always been an advantage of mine, which allows me to obtain information in more ways than usual. Receiveing a TOEIC golden certificate before graduating from college testified my hardwork paid in the area. In my junior year of college, I joined the departments student ssociation. As the leader of the activities planning group, we planned a lot of fun and meaningful activities. I've also taken part in preparing several workshops and camps.Through the process, I've learned a lot whether in organizing or in leading. I enjoy working in a team, as a leader or as a member I always ask myself to do my best. I think it is critical for a team to unite if the team wants to complete tasks. If one persons effort can affect others to do the same. The team will be strong as ever. Teamwork is always a good way to solve problems.

Background Nowadays, more and more families keep dogs. Dogs are into families in an increasingly high degree. But not necessarily getting better quality of life There are a lot of people who keep dogs as their pet, but does not cherish their existence. We hope to review the relationship between people and pets, also hope to take the opportunity to improve the quality of dogs and owners life. In the design of this new product, we can preserve the feelings behind the product. Keeping a dog as a pet not only will affect the dog, the people but also our common life. These three elements are indispensable and are closely related. No one is as important as that can be ignored.

Issues Urban residents are often restricted by the environmental condition, When selecting pet types they often choose smaller dogs as their ideal target. The amount of exercise needed for small dogs are often greatly underestimated. Lack of exercise often cause obesity, Cardiovascular weakness and hip damages

Research and Interviews In order to accomplish this design. We studied a lot of files about pets psychology, as well as doing a lot of interviews with pet owners and veterinarians.

Dog trainers’methods “Induction” Use Dog toys or food to induce the dogs to obey.Is less physical consumed for most trainers “Enforcement” Force the dogs to obey ... Training effects can be seen in a short period of time, but the training results may only apply to the orders issued by certain trainers because the dog was afraid of the trainer and cause them to show "false obedience."

The content of the form are the conclusions we made after a string of interviews with dog owners. After discussions with some veterinary surgeons, we came up with some result on what’s behind the dogs behaviors.

Research and Interviews Motion Analysis

Some basic motions that dogs do. Discussed with dog trainers and veterinary sergeons, we came up with the conclusions kisted below

"Run" The most common movement patterns. Dogs like to run just people like to run. It is the largest and the most efficient exercise. But it should not not last too long or it will damage the dog's leg. "kick" The action of turning around and kick the soil with their rear legs. The action usually comes after the action "dig", after hiding some thing and ready to bury it. Also sometimes after the dog urinated.

"Jump" A dynamic operation when a certain target is locked, bouncing to obtain the target and bouncing, generally for food, or during Frisbee traing and ball trainings.

Modeling

After modeling on the computer . We started off making the model. The entire end product was made by our own hand. Lots of time spent in measuring, shaping and polishing. It took us more than two weeks to finish the project and have it well painted. Besides looking good, it is also functional, which means it could really help solve the problem we presumed in a certain extent.

DIE Studio To wither is the death of flower; The arrival of spring is the death of winter; Te crash down of Soviet Union is the death of the cold war; Death can be beautiful and meaningful

29 D.I.E

Background

DIE Studio was established due to a course named "Art Marketing." In this course we learn how to do marketing for our products. The final project was to create a brand and put it on market. With a variety of marketing techniques to make this a short-term plan to complete. In the process we learn how to manage a brand and communicating skills with the manufacturers.

Design process We hope to sell general supplies that can often be used in one's daily life. So we started looking around for things that are often used as a student. Finally we have decided to focus in the stationery supplies area. After nemerous discussions we have decided that our main products would be folders and bookmarks. We hope that through the process of using our product, we can receive visual changes.

29 D.I.E

Visual In the eastern society. Death is generally more like a taboo. People tend not to talk much about it. But we would like to take it in a relatively humorous way to let the public to have an impression on our merchandise. When in use, one can also enjoy some fun in the process. We hope that our products can impress people as soon as they see it. So we have done some atypical settings in our style and the designed materials.

(An Ancient Chinese taboo is to remember not to step on one's shadow. ) C. A chair has been tipped over was actually done on purpose in order for the man to hang himself. D. A man stares at the sky. When you pull out the bookmark you can see there is a piano falling down.

The Transformation

35 The Transformation

Background

The Transformation started off when a birthday present was recieved in 2012. It was a guitar in Stratocaster shape, which I already have exacally the same kind. Therefore I thought why not change the shape with my own hands and give the present a new look. Through some alternation and handworks, the new guitar will rock the stage with me.

Special Projects

Design can be a hobby. Here are some special projects whether for work or for self promotion

Interior Project

61 Interior Project

Background

It is a project during my internship at National Taiwan Meseum of fine Arts. There is a room named "Children's Play room. "The main work for this project is to re-organize the interior space of this room and present it in my internship report. Later when the meseum is going to alternate the interior decoration, my report will be used as some reference material.

Process

63 Interior Project

This project took me two months to finish, to observe the usage of every area and to think of ways to improve the settings of the tools and their location. After discussions with the managers about the details of the elements, I started modeling and rendering the whole scene and put it in my internship report.

The slope goes along the wall so that it won't cut the space into too many pieces. C. Tables and stools set in the right side of the room for seasonal projects to use. The Creative pad s are set nxt to the slope covering part of the floor and also the wall. D. The building block areas are combined yet also seperated. To put them together makes the room look more organized and the blocks will stay in the same area to save more space for the children to use.

67 Guitar Library Project

Background The Guitar Library Project is a self -promoting project. It started after I graduate and lasted for a year to date during my enlistment in the R.O.C army. Guitar is one of the most beautiful things on earth. What I was trying to do was to make a list of existed guitars and model them in 3D softwares. I tried to finish at least one guitar during every period of vacation. Now the first stage of the project is completed.

Process Because the guitars are all existed guitars, so it is important to find the informations including their size, blueprint and their pictures. The collecting of informations took me a long time before I started modeling. Also the color scheme when rendering took me great effort. The style in graphic made is temperary. The forthcoming stage will contain more guitars and will include some famous guitarists introductions.
