EPOXY PUTTY STICKS - APPLICATION EXAMPLES USES One of the unique characteristics of the Epoxy Putty Stick is its ability to be tapped, drilled and sanded whilst still maintaining its structural integrity. This enables the user to easily repair stripped or cross threaded holes. The testing block to the right, displays three different Epoxy Putty Sticks (Aluminium, Steel and Titanium) bonded into an aluminium block. All three Epoxy Putty Sticks have been sanded back to create a smooth flush finish whilst the Aluminium and Steel sticks have been drilled and tapped. This testing block is designed to demonstrate that the epoxy putty can effectively support a small bolt or screw. Each Epoxy Putty Stick has a different compressive, tensile and lap strength.
