March 22nd, 2012 6-8 pm 551 West 21st Street RSVP to email@example.com LIMITED EDITION FURNITURE OPENING RECEPTION - PRESS RELEASE 21st twenty first Gallery relocates its limited edition, luxury furniture design gallery to the ground floor corner of 21st Street and 11th Avenue for the limited time before the building is torn down. Once home to the Eagle's Nest bar, the unfinished space with "old New York" charm now blends with the clean lines of a modern exhibition. The 21st Street location among Chelsea's big-name galleries is ideal, although it will be ephemeral. An opening reception on Thursday, March 22nd will be a two-part celebration: a new space and the arrival of exquisite works by French couple Anne and Vincent Corbiere. The Corbieres present an array of seating, lighting works and tables. Vincent creates the structure of the pieces from ebony, oak, bronze and steel and Anne creates hand-woven fabrics, blending wool, cotton, linen and metal in unique designs with impressive attention to detail. 21st twenty first gallery’s introduction of the Corbieres’ pieces during Armory week generated enthusiastic reactions. About 21st twenty first Gallery Founded and directed by Renaud Vuaillat, 21st twenty first presents unique and limited edition European design objects and furniture with a strong focus on timeless beauty and quality of work realized through attention to detail.
