Art in the round The art in the round project was a very easy one. I only say this because when i thought of the project, and saw what i was supposed to do there was a clear image in my head and i knew exactly what i wanted. Especially thinking of the name “art in the round i thought i should definitely incorporate a circular design and then sectioning off the part when the paragraphs started.

Then next project was the break tradition poster that was for a client. The way i put this one together is by reusing a image that we were working on, but that project got turned around and never finished so i reused the bowling pins getting knocked down by the ball. Also when i thought of the name of breaking traditions i instantly when to the design and made sure to make the pins look like they are breaking.

I can cover

High School

Oppurtunities 18-19

Onward is the next work of art with the I Can poster that we had to make for cps and to show people to be proactive. For this one i was really stumped, i thought long and hard and just couldn’t think of a design. I was beat and just couldn’t put a piece that not professional out and had to extensively be creative. So it emerged from brain that i shouldn’t over think it and show literally go with the flow. With the mouse in my hand i fluently when through the paper and made a creative design, and though i should go with a light and warm

True False Film Fest Going to the next art piece is the true/false film fest and the them was: whether vs. weather. With the topic in my and the paintbrush tool it was easy to me the i wanted to free hand all the art in the project that you see. The T that you see is also supposed to be represented of a question mark. Then the f was rugged and structured like a Lightning bolt and is sitting on a cloud that also has lightning bolts coming out and i think is pleasing to the eye and collectively show a easy to understand images that anyone can get.

The proceeding task was Columbia EDP. The business was undergoing rebranding in a way and wanted high school students to design a logo for them. While they didn’t exactly was what the color scheme they wanted i went ahead and used a simple and clean red and black design for the logo. This was another simple, yet hard task that was also in a small window that needed attention and simple designs. Because EDPs letters all meant something else i kind of separated them and made sure people knew it wasn’t all one word

Bakery Project Melting Potato Desserts Oreo Crust Cream Pie Now this is a new treat this is a twist on pound cake whereas our chef has browned the butter along with homemade syrup aided with lemon zest and topped with a sliced apple $1.99

Peacan Cluster Candy Bar Torte This is a beautifully crafted Torte plated inside a martini glass where we have lined the rim with ground pecan and layered with a caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate mousse we’ve also added pecans within the peanut butter mousse to give this dish more texture $1.99

Lemon Brown Butter Cake Now this is a new treat this is a twist on pound cake whereas our chef has browned the butter along with homemade syrup aided with lemon zest and topped with a sliced apple $1.99

Strawberry / Rhubarb Sherbert

Now to my favorite piece of work in all the years in the class. This one was a doozy and no day in class was spent on anything but the project and took the most effort i gave in the class i ever needed. Along with due date there were many other obstacles that i had to go through. For example the fact we had to work with a fellow high school student and could not directly talk with each other and often had to think of basically the whole design by myself and couldn’t really get immediate feedback and wait maybe a day or two before they responded. So throughout a day of work i would ask as many questions as possible and hope they were answered by the time i got back. In the end this was easily the best project i worked on.

Now we’ve taken great care of this dish to tease your pallet we’ve gotten sweet and sour together and a complementing sherbert after pulling together the two flavors, we’ve made an irresistible white chocolate bowl that will nestle the sherbert and will complement out flavors to create a $1.99 snowball of flavors

Caramel Apple Churro Bowl This is our chefs signature dessert whereas we take the normal churro design and make it into and bowl instead of filling it like and eclair, we take fresh apples and after they have been swirl cut we then we line the inside of the of the bowl, we proceed to fill with a caramel irish buttercream frosting then top with crisp diced gammon $1.99

Animal mash up On to the next piece was the animal mashups. This was honestly the most research i had to do for a project, The project was based on the concept of taking two animals and mashing them up to create a new looking animal and it was relatively hard when i can to body parts that i could change, but for this one i was more looking for two animals that looked the same with the concept of the same body color. I ended up working with a mouse and a baby rhino and just putting the mouse’s head on top of the animal and it look like the same animal.

Visual Puns Next on this is the visual puns. The main idea of the whole project was to have fun and be creative and no be as serious as other projects. That’s exactly what i did. As we were looking at examples and trying to get a good one in our heads and getting inspired to create a funny pun it came to me. I was thinking about out highschool and how we are the spartans and went with a spearhead and just put a spear instead of a head on someone, and it worked out and i thought it was pretty good.

Mizzou magazine Moving forward is the mizzou magazine column with lauren aldridge. The fun part about the spread was being able to be creative with the design and how i could work with the color schemes and see what black and yellow worked well with each other. The biggest problem was spacing everything out to fit all the paragraphs on the page, but also making everything look smooth and pleasing to the eye. In the end i thought to make it look as simplistic as possible and still add little designs to make it look as professional as possible.

Dark room records cd

DR

The Dark Room Records Cd. This was another fun design and let me be more creative than other projects with the whole design and colors included. The biggest issue with the art was that it had to be round and sill flow nicely with the bubbles/spheres that i created. The main focus for the cd was to incorporate my spheres along with the DRR letters on it and keep making it look good. So i decided to have the letter DRR stacked on top of each other and then the bubbles surrounding them and using a variety of sizes to lighten the look up.

Magazine spread

Joe and Anthony Russo’s Latest hit, April 2018.

Joe and Anthony Russo on their latest 1

The three page magazine spread was definitely my favorite project in indesign. I usually don’t like the program as much as illustrator and would never pick it over the ladder. The biggest obstacle with the project was the contrast. It was a problem because i had white, blue, and red all in the pictures and no character color really worked with the images and so i had to take the image into photoshop and completely black out everything besides the two people that i was showing.

Picture corrections Picture corrections. This was definitely the easiest thing that i did and ever will do. The picture were just a couple tweaks away from being complete and in a few minutes they were complete and it was overall a good learning experiance and was a good opurtunitie to work with the tools and get familiar with them

Infographic

F

The infographic project was at the start of the year and was a fun and easy project that we did in illustrator. Also it not only helped us learn the tools, but also let us learn a lot about the places that we were researching and my place was arizona. In all it was very cool and fun but the coolest thing that i found out was the fact that the arizona desert is home to a cactus breed that is only there.

Phoenix, Ariozona Also woth being one of the largest capitals its to most populated with 1.4 millions people One Good Hotel

One of the hotest places in america can top out at over 100 but lowest in history is 16 degrees!

in addition to the arizona cardinals the superbowl has been held here for over 3 times Arizona

Phoenix

Phoenix has over 62,000 guest rooms and 500 hotels

with this population arizona is the 6th largest state

Arizona is 1 of only 21 states with a NBA Team in phoenix Along with many other great attractions phoenix has over 200 golf courses

Arizona is in the sonoran desert home to one cactus none other has called the saguaros

Buissness card The business card was a extension of the columbia EDP project that let us develop the skills to find out how to make a nice and clean card for a client. The CEO of the business approach us to make a card for her as they are re-imaging there model and how they looked. It was nice how we had the freedom to do whatever we wanted as a design and color scheme.

Envelope Adding on to the previous developments of the Columbia EDP this one was my favorite part of the three part art pieces. The idea on this one was a short and easy design, i just reused the company logo that i created and then added the necessary information to make it a good looking envelope head.

Darkroom Records Cover

Next is the cover of the dark room records vol. 4. This was my second favorite project that i did this year. The most confusing thing was trying to find a concept that i could roll with and i ended up using a circle like design that was somewhat transparent and then i wanted to add a touch of pazaz and ended up using a .25pt line through all the circles and i think it came out great

Darkroom Records Inside

Next is the inside cover of the dark room records vol. 4. This was a little more straight forward compared to the outside cover because it needed more strict guidlines and. The most interesting thing was trying to find a idea that i could use. Then i ended up just using the DRR again but with this one being white and putting more spheres on it.
