Murder Mystery Theatre Invitation This was a poster I made where the theme was around the 1920s-1930s where we created a poster for the Boone County History and Culture Center. The Project was pretty simple, although it had to be double sided and all the text had to fit the theme as well as the colors.

Darkroom Records CD Cover and Label

Darkroom Records was a project where we had to create a CD cover as well as a CD design for Darkroom Records. As the name implied, I went with a more dark approach to the project.

Career Center Cover for High School Opportunities This project was a poster meant to be the cover for the Colubmia Area Career Center. The theme of the poster was “I can”, so I took that theme and made a lightbulb which are often associated with thinking.

Type as Shape/Typography This project was a little strange, with the idea being that we had to use letters and numbers to make a fictional character. We were also told to be creative, and not use letters for drawing, but rather to make a shape with interesting letters.

Breaking Traditions Poster The Breaking Traditions poster was a poster where we would put the names of the state and regional winners for scholarships. All of the pictures and the names had to be placeholders, as the names and pictures were not avaliable at the time.

Visual Puns

(Shell Shocked and Jellyfish)

The Visual Puns were a project where we had to take 2 pictures to create some sort of visual pun. We then had to photoshop those pictures together to create the pun. My puns used were Shell Shocked (Top) and a Jellyfish (Bottom).

10

Face Adjustments

The Face Adjustments project was a project where we had to take a picture of ourselves and photoshop our face onto a poster/celebrity. I did mine on a star wars poster where I put my face over the other characters.

11

Animal Remix/Mashup

The Animal Mashup was a project where we had to take 2 different pictures of animals we found online, and photoshop them on top of each other to make them look as natural as possible, including colors.

Art in the Round - Typography and Heirarchy

The Art in the Round Poster we made was a poster to help us get better at type heirarchy, and learn how to better place text. My main problem with this project was that I didn’t really have anything to fill extra space.

17

Zou Nation Sidebar and Magazine Spread

This project was a collaboration with Zou Nation where we had to create a magazine spread as well as a sidebar and a cover. The project was unfortunately due before we had obtained the official photos we were going to use, so instead we used placeholder pictures.

True/False Film Festival T-Shirt Designs

This project was a competiton for creating T-Shirt designs for the True/False Film Festival. The theme for the year was weather, so I went with my ideas of a weather or fog machine on the bottom, and rain on top.

19

Unbound Book Festival T-Shirt This project was a competition to create a T-Shirt for the Unbound Book Festival. The design was meant to be simple, but also still have the theme of reading with it.

All Children Matter T-Shirt This T-Shirt I created had a theme of “All Children Matter and was meant for the state of Missouri, but also could be transferred to the rest of the United States. I had to trace both the state of Missouri and the United States as well.

CMSTA T-Shirt This T-Shirt was meant to be worn by teachers, but also have to relate to education in some way. That’s why I made there be a book, and to make the shirt be more appealing, I also but the circle and flare above it

Menu Project This Menu Project was a collaboration with another class, where we had to create the menu of another student’s restauraunt. We had to essentially communicate with the other students as if they were a client to help them get what they wanted in a menu.

Un Rêve Français

Creme Brulee Tart

Strawberry Lemon-Basil Sorbet This sorbet is the absolute perfect summer treat! This light treat is great to cool you down after a hot day in the sun. The sweetness of the strawberry combined with the bitterness of the lemon and savory basil will make your palette feel completely fulfilled and is a perfect dessert for all ages!

What better way to get the full French experience than a creamy creme brulee base baked into a delicious tart. Creme Brulee is a classic that is a fan favorite amongst many people. The light custard combined with a fresh crust creates a dessert made from heaven! The tart is truly not one to miss!!

Chocolate Cake with Creme Caramel Icing

Snickers Torte

This traditional chocolate buttermilk cake is a slice of heaven! The buttermilk creates a fluffy, moist texture for the perfect bite. Topped with a whipped cream caramel icing, the combination of two classic flavors create a delicious experience with every bite.

Baguette Bread Pudding

This spin on your classic bread pudding will leave you craving more time and time again. The silky pudding combined with delicious pieces of baguettes is the perfect combination of sweet and savory and will leave you feeling like you just walked out of a French bakery overlooking the Eiffel Tower

Everyone loves a sweet Snickers bar, everyone loves a rich cake, so what better idea than combing the two? This layered dessert begins with a moist chocolate chiffon cake, then is followed with a caramel mousse and peanut butter mousse. The dessert is topped off with a chocolate ganache poured over the cake to get the full candy bar experience.
