Message from the Chairs The 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship is less than one year away. Over the past several months, the Championship Committee, club management and our Championship Director Kathy Beard, have been busy planning the many details required to host this national championship. It is our goal to conduct a championship that will make our members, staff, and community proud. We have already gained the full support of the mayors and staff of the City of Charleston, Town of Mount Pleasant, and City of North Charleston. They recognize the importance in hosting the United States Golf Association and these top women competitors from around the world. This special mailing is intended to further inform you about the championship, including how to become a member of the 113 Club. We want to thank all those who have devoted their time to date, and ask for your support as we move forward. With everyone’s help, we will host a very memorable championship!
