Welcome to the 15th Annual MITX Awards, the most spectacular celebration of innovation and creativity in New England. It’s been an incredibly exciting year in our industry – breakthrough ideas, technology and strategy have taken digital marketing to new heights.

At MITX, this movement is the star of our mission. As the leading association of its kind in the country, our story is set at the ever-changing intersection of technology and marketing, and understanding the profound impact it’s having on business today.

The MITX Awards showcases the best of what’s next in marketing, providing a “closeup”on the tremendous achievements of our industry. No other Awards program attracts this level of talent, ingenuity and originality. Tonight we’ll applaud the marketing, creative, technology and strategy professionals who are leading the way. As amazing as these productions are, what’s even more amazing is to think about all that went into making them happen. The “behind the scenes”of bringing these digital solutions to life is a labor of love, grit and invention. Allan Goodwin Allan Goodwin is one of the funniest and respected comics on the circuit today. Creative and lovable, Al can do any room anywhere, anytime. A comedy veteran of more than 15 years, Allan has worked in almost every area of the country on every level from corporations to house parties to bar mitzvahs. Al’s strength comes from his ability to connect with people and appreciate the lighter side of their own lives thru his observations and material. Allan was a winner on “America’s Funniest People”, has been seen on “The Billy Bush Show”, numerous commercials on PBS and even an appearance on “The Bottom Line” with Qweisi Mfume. Having played almost every club and college in the country, Al recently made the step up to the theaters opening for Dave Chappelle, and for Wayne Brady and Steven Wright on their most recent tours. Another sign that Al is about to hit the big time was his recent admittance into New York’s Friar’s Club in recognition of his comedy achievements and dedication to his craft. Al made it to the finals of last year’s HBO “Lucky 21” Contest where he was one of only 21 comics from all over the country to get chosen and represent the East Coast last November at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival.


2009 Show

From Boston’s rich interactive landscape has emerged a robust center of the video game industry, and when combined with amazing creative agencies that leverage gaming in their strategy, New England has become a hub for top-scoring gamers. Boy did those gamers come out to play in 2009! With an action-packed show featuring memorable moments in gaming, a stand-up act rivaling Conan O’Brien, an audience of over 1,200 industry players, and of course, plenty of drinks, the 2009 show was an event not to be missed!
