OUR VISION

Our heart at 1NAME is for everybody to KNOW JESUS, FIND FAMILY and DISCOVER PURPOSE. Jesus walked everywhere He went. We want to walk with you at 1NAME Church so you can know more about Jesus, find family in the community of our church and discover your purpose in what God has called you to do. We have designed our Walk Track to help you know more about your church, your family, and your purpose.

That same day two of Jesus’ followers were walking to the village of Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem. As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things, Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them.

WEEKEND EXPERIENCE

is our service where we come together as a church and have worship, a message, kids ministry, and community.

GROUPS

are the gatherings of 10-15 people who meet online, at homes, or at public places in our community to learn, grow, and build relationships. Our groups are designed to provide a place for you to belong and FIND FAMILY through a life-giving community of authentic relationships.

HOME TEAM

is a group of amazing people who have discovered their gifts and passions and have made a decision to serve God’s house in various departments, according to their unique abilities. The Home Team is a place for you to make a di erence in the lives of others by being a part of something bigger than yourself. Anybody who serves at 1NAME is part of a Home Team and together we work to fulfill the mission and vision of 1NAME Church. Whatever your gifting, there is a place for you on the Home Team! We are passionate, committed and determined to build God’s house together.

OUTREACH

is what we do to serve our community. We invest in and partner with our local communities and partners to spread the love of Jesus in order to build the Kingdom of God here in South Florida.

The goal is to help you learn more about your church and how you can get connected so you can be a part of what God is doing at 1NAME Church.

OUR VISION

We named our church 1NAME Church for two reasons:

1. We wanted people to find THEIR IDENTITY IN THE NAME OF JESUS and to feel a sense of belonging and community when they attend our Church.

2. We believe the church should be a church for the community. We don't exist to stay within our four walls, but believe we should take the message of Christ to our local communities and the world

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

At 1NAME Church people KNOW JESUS by attending our weekend experience online or in person, FIND FAMILY in authentic and welcoming groups, and DISCOVER PURPOSE by joining our Home Team and experiencing our Walk Track.

How Does 1NAME Church Help People Know Jesus?

We do this by 3 main pathways:

1. OUR WEEKEND EXPERIENCE

Hebrews 10:23-25, Psalm 122:1

The purpose of the Weekend Experience is to provide a life-giving church environment where everyone feels welcomed and at home while providing a safe and fun place for children. Our desire is to make it easy for you to experience the love of JESUS! Our weekend experience consists of our physical gatherings and our online gatherings.

Goals of the Weekend Experience:

● Presenting the Word in a practical way

● Sharing with our community - Investing & Inviting

• 96% Of people in our community do not attend church.

• 70% of people say they would attend if they were invited by a friend

Our desire is to make it easy for people to experience the love of JESUS!

2. LOCAL OUTREACH

Mark 16:15, Romans 10:13-14

We invest in and partner with our local communities to spread the love of Jesus in order to build the Kingdom of God. Come make a di erence with us and share in what God is doing to our Community gatherings.

3. THE WALK GROUP

Basics of how to KNOW Jesus:

Our heart at 1Name is that you know Jesus, not just know of Him. We have made it our mission to help you know Jesus more. Knowing Jesus means surrendering our whole life to him! When we have a relationship with Jesus.........

We LEARN, GROW and ACT like Jesus: “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.”” —John 8:31 (NKJV)

LEARN:

OUR CULTURE

1. Jesus IS OUR PURPOSE; 1 Timothy 2:5 (NLV) There is one God. There is one Man standing between God and men. That Man is Christ Jesus.

2. People ARE OUR HEART; John 13:34-35 (NLT) So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.

3. Generosity IS OUR PASSION; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (ESV)

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

4. Family IS OUR PRIORITY; 1 Timothy 5:8 (NLT) But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

5. Excellence IS OUR STANDARD; 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT) So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

6. Worship IS OUR RESPONSE; Hebrews 12:28 (NLT) Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.

7. Loud IS OUR EXPRESSION; Psalm 150:4-6 (NLT) Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with the clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!

8. Fun IS OUR LIFESTYLE; Ecclesiastes 2:24 (NLT) So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drinks and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God.

9. UNITY is OUR CORE; 1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

10. REAL Is OUR Identity; 1 John 3:18 (NLT) Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

FIND FAMILY & DISCOVER PURPOSE

The goal is to help you identify the value of belonging to God’s family, connect with others as you find family at 1NAME and identify the unique gifts God has given you to discover your purpose within 1NAME Church.

FIND FAMILY

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO FOCUS ON FINDING FAMILY?

When Jesus was asked which was the most important commandment, He said there are two:

Love ___________with all your heart, mind and soul, AND love _________ as yourself.

Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV) “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

These two laws really are inseparable.

Knowing God in a personal way allows you to fulfill the need to __________________ and find family.

HOW DO WE GET TO BE PART OF GOD’S FAMILY?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PART OF GOD’S FAMILY?

1. Knowing each other’s story- Explain the di erence between being friendly vs. being a friend.

Share a time when having a friend really made a di erence in your life. How did it impact you and help you through that time?

2. Praying for one another.

Share a time when prayer has impacted your life.

3. Doing life together.

Describe a circumstance where you sought understanding in a di cult situation.

4. Helping by encouraging one another to take their next steps. Identify ways you have encouraged others or have been encouraged by others to seek God’s purpose.
