If the spark plug center electrode [A] and/or side electrode [B] are corroded or damaged, or if the insulator [C] is cracked, replace the plug. Use the standard spark plug or its equivalent. Measure the gap [D] with a wire-type thickness gauge. If the gap is incorrect, carefully bend the side electrode with a tool to obtain the correct gap. Spark Plug Gap:
0.8 ∼ 0.9 mm (0.031 ∼ 0.035 in.)
General Lubrication Lubrication

Cable: Lubricate with Cable Lubricant. Choke Cable Throttle Cables Lubricate the cables by seeping the oil between the cable and housing. ○The cable may be lubricated by using a commercially available pressure cable lubricator [A] with an aerosol cable lubricant [B].
